Suggestion a Camera Store ?

I purchase all my equipment via B&H but I need to purchase a tripod and I would really like a hands on approach to this purchase. I.E. I want to tinker with it first and feel the weight etc.

I'm looking for a store in South Florida -- I visited Wolfe Camera but their selection at their Biscayne Blvd location in NMB was ... petty.

Since I am not from Florida I am probably no help but when I am looking for equipment such as a tripod I will gather a few that I am interested in and then research them on the web. Usually the manufacturers have a "locate dealer" option where I can find a local dealer that sells the brand I am looking for. That might be a start until someone local to Florida can make a recommendation for a good camera store.
