Does anyone know if Disney has ever taken a suggestion for a location they do not offer? I've been looking at DFTW for a long time and noticed their locations have greatly increased, but I feel like there are still a few places they could be offering.

That would be great...please let me know what information you gather.

Buying out the locations, bascially that is what it comes down too.

Where were you thinking?

My favorite hotel has always been French Quarter and I think the little garden/fountain areas are perfect for small weddings. I'm a few years away from actually tying the knot so I'm crossing my fingers that they eventually offer it but wondering if asking will get me anywhere too.

I would def ask, they probably think most people would think those locations too public, but if its what you want they might.

I had once asked about the Boardwalk lawn (between the lobby and the surrey bike rental) and was told no.

Thanks! When the time comes I'll give it a go. Dying for a jazzy wedding!

When they took out the beach at the GF, we inquired on getting married on the beach at the CR and were told no because it is considered a "guest area" and would take away from the experience of staying at CR if it were off-limits due to our wedding. I agree they could expand the options so much! Good luck to you!

How strange, aren't most areas at Disney hotels considered guest areas lol.

But they'll do the beach club beach, and poly beach for memories. Doesn't seem to make sense.

Yeah there is the gazebo at the yacht club and they had a reception at CSR once which are all outside guest areas.

Are you thinking of the croquet lawn? Behind the Villas? That is a separate space.

Oh yes I probably am.

I asked about the Imagination Atrium in Epcot and was told no.

I also asked about the Wonders Lounge and was told no, but only because it is being used by the Food and Wine festival at the time of our wedding.

I had wondered about the main bridge walkway between Future World and the World Showcase...you know right where the monorail track crosses? The planters along the sides are always lovely and what great photo ops! I just wasn't sure where the rope is in the mornings before WS opens and if that would make it a "no" location. :confused3

Last time I was there at rope drop, it was back near the pin-trading station, but DFTW just doesn't do ceremonies in Future World. The park likes to keep them in World Showcase because of the difference in opening times.
