Suggest a good shoe for the parks...

Another vote for Clarks! I bought a pair of clogs last fall when I was hired at The Disney Store for the holidays. I didn't have any problems being on my feet for hours at a time, considering I spend the rest of my day in an office chair. As a matter of fact I rarely have worn anything else since. I wer them just about every day.

For summer I got a pair of Clarks flip flops. They have more of a cushiony insole - I can't wait to break them out!

I would say any Merrill shoe/sandal. I love my Birks, but I have to wear them for months in order to break them in to park standards.

Skechers Premium (not the cuter, flatter styles); the ones with the big soles. I have had foot problems when traveling (and at home!) for years, but no more. I have tried Merrells, Mephisto, Ecco, Easy Spirit, Clarks, Nike, Cole Haan, New Balance, etc., but nothing has been as good as Skechers.

They are sooo cushiony and my feet aren't sore or blistered at the end of the day. I know the OP said no big sneakers, but these don't feel heavy to me, and the complete lack of foot issues makes them wonderful.

I have high arches and stick a Dr. Scholl advantage arch or my orthotic in them for extra support. I haven't had any luck with any kind of mules (I seem to need socks to avoid blisters when walking miles and miles), so I don't know if that would work with the Skechers mules.

I am also a big fan of Birkenstocks, but I can't go all day at WDW in summer in them.

Another vote for Merrill's here. I wear Merrill clogs (slip-ons) all winter.

I wore my Cole Haan sandals (with Nike Air soles) last year in Disneyland and was sooo comfy.

I usually wear Asic sneakers with good socks, and that's plenty. I wore Birks on our last trip, and they were really comfortable, but we were there over Memorial Day weekend, and people kept stepping on my feet

I always had a hard time finding comfortable running shoes. Believe it or not the best and most comfortable ones for me are Champion brand that I found at Target!! They are so comfortable that I bought a couple of back-up pairs for when these get worn out.

Aerosoles Code Tred are super comfortable sandals. They're not that cute, but I think they look better than Crocs. It takes a day or two to get used to walking on them because they are sooooo cushy it feels like you're bouncing. At least that's how I felt. I've found them on sale at Bealls for $29.99, they're usually $50.

These look real comfy too, but I haven't tried them (yet).

I bought these for our WDW trip in October, my feet felt WONDERFUL in them. I have problems with my feet and hate to wear sneakers, and have my feet closed in....I had these without the backstrap, but they cost a pretty penny. I do not regret spending the money as I would have been miserable the whole trip (like I was on my honeymoon in 1992) if I had not gotten them.

However, I think I now must check out these code tred shoes by aerosoles.....much more affordable...and while still not terribly stylilsh, more so than these above!
