Just back from WDW and I am staring at a mountain of laundry and am really missing the magic of Disney.

Oh ,we flew out of Buffalo on Southwest if any one has any questions I can try and answer them.

Is it to early to plan my next trip? Of coarse it can be untill after March because that when our baby's due. Oh well more time to save money> :)

It's never too early to start planning your next trip;) . Organize your photos of this trip, and start getting ready for that baby! Oh yeah, and give us more details of your vacation. Where did you stay?

We stayed 3 nights at the Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista - was clean but a little worn. we had a semi suite there which turned out to be a regular room that had a fridge and microwave.

We then moved to the All Star Movie's Broadway building which was a ltille bit of a walk to the Main building but was great. Whould stay there again in a heart beat. Espically if we can get a $49 dollar a night rate again. Only have 2 negative things to say about All Stars - we requested bed rails for 3yr old DD on our reservation and at check in the Cm had to rerequest them. She told us the would be in our room in an hour, when we returned that night at 9:00pm they still where not there but after a quick phone call they had them there in about 10min. The other thing was that our room had a leaky bath tub faucet. Now we never complained to mangement about that so we never gave them a chance to fix it so I guess that one is our fault.

Nancy - Those post-Disney blues are tough, aren't they, and laundry isn't exactly the most cheerful task either. It sounds like you had fun, though, and I found I felt better last November when I started to plan, however vaguely, our next trip.

I have friends flying out of Buffalo in November, and we hope to fly out from there next time too. My questions are:

1) How early did you get there in order to get seats together?
2) Were people with children under 5 allowed to board early?
3) I know Southwest doesn't serve food, but do they serve juice/milk/coffee?
4) What hotel (if any) did you stay at in Buffalo?
5) Did the hotel allow you to park for free?

Thanks Nancy.

Hi Cindy Ann: Its not Nancy but I can answer ur questions. If u have kids younger then 5, yes u get a special pre board pass. If u dont u r assigned a number about an hour before boarding. Line up usually starts about 15 minutes before that. They load the disabled and parent s with liitle ones first. Then numbers 1-30 then 30-60 and so on. As long as ur in the first 3 groups or so, u should have no problem sitting together. As far as snacks, u get pop, juice, coffee, peanuts and cookies or crackers. Nancy will have to answer the hotel question, but yes, most of the hotels do allow free parking. Hope this helps

1. On the way down we arrived at the gate about 1hr and 45 min before take off time. Check in did not open untill 1 hr before and nobody lined uo untill about 5 min before check in. We ended up with numbers 7, 8, 9

2. we where allowed to preboard with our 3 yr old DD and I think they said anyone with children under 5 chould pre board. We waited in the preboard section right after we checked in. And had no problem getting 3 seats together. Did the same on the return flight and got numbers 1, 2,3 and was first in the preboard line so we bulk head seats.

3. Coffee , juice and animal cookies where served on the way down ( early moring flight)
On the way back Coffee, juice, pop , peanuts and crackers ( like gold fish ones ) where served. You could also purchase beer and alcholioc drinks for $4.00 a piece US.

4. We stayed a The Wellsey Inn very close to the airport it was the cheepest at $89. USD a night

5. We parked ther during our trip at no extra charge just make sure to let them know because you need a special parking tag.

I was happy with Southwest there seemed to be lots of leg room even in the regular seats my husbands knees did not touch the seat in front of him. My only compliant was that on our return flight about 5 min before boarding we where told the plane was making an unscheduled stop in Blatimore to pick up people stranded there by a storm the day before. We where given an "we are very sorry this is not our normal practice..." and nothing else . All in all it only added about 30 min to our flight time but the passengers who got on didn't seem to know that there had been a storm in Baltimore the day before. We think the just overbooked the Baltimore people and had to find them something else - our non stop to Buffalo flight oh well!

MaryAnn and Nancy - Thanks to both of you for the info - that will really help. Nancy - I have to say the Baltimore storm that nobody knew about does sound a little suspicious. I'm glad it only ended up being a 30 minute delay, though, and it sounds like everything else went quite well.

Thanks again,
