Sudoku - Anybody Else Caught Up?

good luck on the exam! Although I'm irritated that people don't have to do the 2 day marathon session in a crappy building with wooden chairs , it's still not an easy exam to pass.

OMG how old am I?

When I took that test it was 5 parts given over 3 days. We weren't even allowed to use a Calculator -- much less take a computer version. :rotfl:

Good luck on the exam :)

I started taking it right after they eliminated the 3rd day, 5th part. And we were allowed calculators -- those $.99 cheapie ones that did nothing but the basics. :teeth:

I love them, but I learned too quickly (I think I have a good sense of logic) and so I'm going to get one of those books that has, like, 5 SuDoku's combined for the flight to WDW!

[either that or an electronic one so I can just skip the 'easy' and 'mild' puzzles!]

On the other hand, I'm rubbish at crosswords!

I am so hooked. I bought a book at Publix Grocery Store. It has easy, med and hard. The easy and medium I can handle no problem. The hard is kicking my butt.

While on vacation during the summer my friend who is hooked on it tried
showing me how to so it. I couldn't get the hang of it all, just made me
feel stupid!

Hey, I took it that way, too!!! Just a pencil and a lots of brain cells.

Sandy V, I thought the websudoku site allows the little numbers. I saw it on their options page.

I got my book at Target, they were by the registers. Like mother, like daughter, my dd8 was working one with my last night.

My ds said he tried it and thought it was boring. I havent seen it yet to be honest. I guess my dh would find it boring too due to his math/technical background etc. But it really does sound like a great way to keep your mind busy.

Thanks. I'll have to check that out. I've been doing them without the superscripts. I like that website because it has so many puzzles. I do them throughout the day as little "rewards" for accomplishing certain work tasks. I am completely hooked!!

I just started doing them yesterday. I haven't quite figured it out yet and am struggling with the easy ones. But, I have a long plane flight coming in two weeks (New York to ... DISNEYLAND!!!!! Woo hooo!!!) and I hope to "get it" by the time the flight ends.

They are completely absorbing, though. I have to remember to look up on the subway every now and then, or I'll miss my stop!

I love them, too. A lady in the office made up a spreadsheet to plug numbers into while figuring out the puzzles. LOL
