Successful summer for Disney films....

- Disney has yet to open a film this summer that did not eclipse analysts'
predictions, and $1 out of every $5 spent at theaters has been for a Disney
film this season. "We hate to see summer end," says Disney chairman Dick
Cook. "I'd like to say we planned for all this, but the stars were just
aligned for us."

We usually don't go to the movies that often....this summer we went twice! Both of them were Disney movies! We all loved Finding Nemo and Freaky Friday. Their 2 new ones, Brother Bear and Haunted Mansion also look good!

I can't wait for Haunted Mansion. We also saw Nemo and Freaky Friday, Disney is on a roll.

we just returned from Freaky Friday and just loved it!! We also saw finding nemo this year and have to agree this was a great year for disney. I can't wait to see POC! ( I know we are a little slow)

I know I've seen my share of Disney movies this summer, saw POTC 3 times, Finding Nemo twice, but it's not over yet! Brother Bear (Disney movie) is coming out in November, and Phil Collins does the sound track.

I highly recommend going a third time..Pirates of The Caribbean is a must see..I've seen it twice and am planning to go at least a third time

I forgot completely about POTC. My DH made me go see it, I usually don't like movies like that. But wow, I loved this movie. Johnny Depp was great in it. Would highly recommend you add this one to your must see list!

I saw POTC twice and could've gone to Freaky Friday again. It was hysterical! I have been listening to the soundtrack in my car all week.

My Disney buddy - my youngest son - and I went to see Nemo for the second time yesterday. This time I searched for hidden Mickeys throughout the movie, and saw several!

It was a toss up between Nemo and POC. If we had seen POC, it would have been my 4th time! I don't believe that in my entire 54 years I have ever watched a movie more than twice - even if I have it on video! I've ordered the soundtrack to POC and can't wait for it to arrive. As soon as I find out it's available on DVD, I'll be the first in line!

Also bought the soundtrack to Nemo a couple of days ago - wonderful music I can listen to at work, and no one will realize I'm listening to Disney! (They already know I'm a Disney nut). When the bosses are out or at a meeting and I'm alone, I listen to the Official WDW Album, and "ride" the attractions in my mind.

Good news! I hope Disney continues to do well. I loved Finding Nemo, and I can't wait for Brother Bear.

Both Friday and POTC finished in the Top 5 for the Labor Day weekend. Disney has had a great year so far. I hope they have momentum to continue.
