We are back. Although we were concerned it worked out really well going to Disney World and then cruising with a 4 month old.

It was a different cruise then if he hadn't been along of course but worked out quite nicely. We got a lot of looks like we were crazy but DS was very good.

We were overly aware and cautious of sun and heat so he came home as milky white as when he left.

The balcony was very good to have since we did spend more time in the cabin then we would normally... but still we didn't utilize the verandah nearly as much as I thought we would.

Also, Flounders was great. The staff doted on DS. One nursery staffer said she had worked there 3 years and ours was the tiniest baby she had ever seen on board. They all 'fought' over who got to hold and care for him.

I could fill up a lot of room on baby tips and how it went. Overall, I'd say it was a SUCCESS!

We were on the same cruise. You're right, the Flounders staff loved having babies. They were wonderful with DS. It was certainly a different experience than when we went with only DD, but I wouldn't have changed it for anything. DS loved the ship and was extremely good. I was so happy with how well he did.

Did they take the table out of your room to make room for the Pack & Play? Was it there when you got your cabin or did you have to request it from your host? Did you have an infant life jacket for your DS in before the drill? Just wondering if us not having those things was typical.

Yes the pack in play was waiting when we arrived in our room. The infant life jacket was not.

Did they make you go to the life drill? I was headed down the hall and they told me I could return to my cabin since I was carrying an infant and that DH and DD could rep our family. (Then they never even called our cabin per DH)

We loved Flounders. We used them for 9 hours over the course of the cruise. They were very loving and attentive.

No infant life jackets? That's a little concerning to me.

They have infant life jackets. I think it wasn't in the room when we got there.

Just thought I would clarify that but I think that is what they meant.

O.k., whew! That's a load off my mind.
