success with adding at podium

I'd like to hear any success stories about adding guests to an ADR right when you go to dine. I have been trying for a couple of months to add 2 to an ADR for 4 at Be our Guest, to no avail. As much as I hate to be one of those guests who ask at check in time if they can accommodate more guests, I may end up being so.

I'm hoping I'm not completely delusional to think they may be able to fit 2 more. Anyone do it with no problem? Otherwise we will just have to figure out which 2 have to sit out.

Never have asked, but at BOG you are going to need a "golden ticket" I'd believe.

Not likely that you will be able to add 2 to a BOG reservation. Which meal though? If it's breakfast or lunch then try to make another reservation for 2 for about the same time. You can sit anywhere you want at those meals and could all sit together assuming there is a 6 person table to be found.

No, it is for dinner unfortunately. I've been signed up for the ADR finder on Touring Plans, and while it has come thru a few times, never when I have my phone on me. One time I saw the notification within an hour, and the ADR was already gone. I can't have my phone on me at work, which is not helping.

The other ADR I am struggling with is breakfast at Tusker House. Thinking I may just cancel that one.

Dinner at BOG is probably 50%/50%. They will have plenty of chairs and tables because dinner is limited by the kitchen, not the seats.

Tusker House has a policy of accommodating everyone. Unless you have a pre-park reservation, you'll be fine there. If it is pre-park, they won't lay you past the rope with more than are on the reservation.
