Success w/ Bonine on Mission:Space?

Has anyone (who is normally prone to motion sickness) had succes taking Bonine/Dramamine before going on M:S? I really want to ride it but I'm nervous about feeling sick for a few hours. Body Wars makes me ill, and RnRC gives me a headache, but most thrill rides don't bother me.

I don't know if it works but I will find out next week and let you know. I'm deciding on if I want bonine, generic dramamine, or to wear my transderm scop patch. We plan on doing a lot of the motion rides, which are just not fun for me.

I was just there and took it before I got on a simulator ride (at universal--Jimmy Neutron) and it did not help me at all (I took it in the morning, so several hours before riding). No change. So I didn't take a chance on Mission Space. Too bad, I was hoping I could. I can ride ToT, space mountain.....but can not ride teacups, body wars, star tours, carousel, or dumbo.

I took Bonine an hour before riding and had no motion sickness. It worked great for me. Just remember to keep your eyes open and face stright ahead.

I have no problems with the spinning rides... I cannot do TOT or RNR....drops do me in... I was wondering how tight the space is for the ride.. I am claustrophobic so I would be curious to know what others thought....

It's pretty tight, Mackey. I've seen pictures and it looks very claustrophobic (if you're prone to such a thing).

I'm curious about the Bonine too. I'm going to have to try Mission Space in a few days and while I know I can't bow out of it, I also don't really want to be sick in front of business associates.

Star Tours makes me wobbly, Body Wars makes me green, so I'm wondering if Mission Space is going to be my introduction to the nearby trash bins. Anyone else have Bonine success or failure stories?
