Posting this here because I don't know where it really fits, sorry in advance if this should go somewhere else.

We're at the beginning stages of redecorating our living room, kitchen, and possibly DS's playroom. Anybody want to share how you subtly incorporated Disney into different parts of your house (or maybe not so subtly in the playroom)? Pictures would be awesome! Looking for more of a Disney parks feel than movies.

Also, anybody know of any good places to look for free high quality Disney parks pictures we could print and frame? My own pictures (aside from the ones with us in them, of course) are definitely not print and hang on the wall worthy!

We updated our kitchen last year and decided to redecorate with a subtle WDW theme.
We have the Retro monorail picture seen on this site: http://www.mouseplanet.com/9749/Disney_Stuff__Walt_Disney_World_40th_Anniversary_Mini_Attraction_Poster_Set
We also have this picture: http://cheapskateprincess.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/old-Disney-World-advertisement-1971.jpg
And this one: http://smg.photobucket.com/user/bananaphone5000/media/NEWGORILLA/Carousel2.jpg.html

Then I took some of our own pictures from the parks and ordered them as Mounted Wall Art on Shutterfly. I have a cabinet over the sink with glass doors and I've put the kids first Mickey ears, pictures of them with characters and our pressed penny collection inside it. I have a few other kitchen things that are Mickey. I love my Disney kitchen. It has a WDW feel, but it isn't over the top.

We have a couple of the Thomas Kindade disney paintings. It fits nicely with what we have.

I got this for my DD's 18th birthday next week. (I'm dying to give it to her!) I worried that it might be too much but it's gorgeous. They had the perfect size frame for it at Micheals to put it in and then I got a collage frame that is the same height and fits 9 5x7 photos. I put some of her favorite pics in it and I think they'll make her cry, haha. Both in black to match the shot glass cabinets she keeps her vinylmation in.

We will be getting a house soon and I'd like to incorporate some of the vintage ride signs.

In the Den that the younger DDs use I hung 4 Disney 45 records (bought at yard sale) in record frames that I bought at Walmart. I think they are Snow White, Cinderella, Little Hiawatha and the other is escaping me, but it is Mickey in Frontier clothing. Here are some on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Walt-Disney-Disneyland-Records-Amazon/lm/R1ZL9GRI22TP1F

We also hung this poster in a black frame. http://www.*****************/Disney-World-Poster--50-Ears_p_10445.html

This trashcan is the one in our living room beside my chair.http://www.amazon.com/Disney-Mickey-Mouse-Plastic-Wastebasket/dp/B008AYXHYY/ref=sr_1_2?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1408112825&sr=1-2

In our bedroom I have a Cinderella puzzle that I did and framed:

I also have saved last year's Thomas Kinkade Disney calendar in hopes of framing some and hanging upstairs, but I haven't wanted to spring for 12x12 frames yet.

Then in our dining room, I have a collage I made with old trip photos in the shape of a Mickey head on a black background.

We used to have a living room on our second floor until it became my room. We had Disney animation cells from the Disney movies that my parents collected a long time ago. They used to hang in the room . All the walls were covered with them.

I am hoping my mom will let me hang my pins on the wall when I get around to putting them in window (shadow) boxes.

Keep an out at Michael's, they frequently have BOGO shadow boxes and cases and 20-25% off entire order coupons. This makes them very affordable. I always grab a couple shot glass cases when they have these sales for my daughter and her ever growing Vinylmation collection.
