Not asking for myself; has anyone had any luck swapping out the sweet potato fries at GG for regular fries? How about getting fries at CRT with a kids meal? For instance with chicken nuggets instead of mashed potatoes? Thanks

Not sure about those two places but I have substituted fries for fruit in kid's meals before. If they are on the menu you should be able to substitute.

Exactly as a pp said, if the restaurant has the item on the menu then I have never had an issue substituting for an alternate available side.

again if on the menu with another item yes but most likely not if not on menu as that item will most likely not be in the kitchen. and yes there are places that do not have french fries

Or do not have "regular" fries, versus the sweet potato fries. I wouldn't count on it at GG. I also don't know that CRT has fries. Is there an entree served with fries? If no, I would not assume it an available option.
