On the DP, TS meals include an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. The last time I was there, I seem to remember that the server would let us have a salad or soup in place of the appetizer. Can anyone tell me if this is a common practice?

I thought soup or salad were considered appetizers! I know last year when we used those vouchers that were the same as a TS credit that my DH would get a salad every time. I would think it would have to be a "side" salad though - not an entree salad.

I think you're right, Disney Debbie! These items may be listed under their own headings on the menu, but that's for clarity.

I am pretty sure that is the case at all the Dining Plan restaurants. It should be noted, though, that entree salads are not available as appetizers.
