Subscription boxes

i went kind of on the expensive side and have a Hello Fresh subscription. I got the 1st box free, and 2nd and 3rd boxes will be $15 off. After that, i dont think its worth that $60 price tag. :\

I receive the Sephora Play box. It's $10 a month and I like it better than the other beauty boxes because all of the products they send are from high end brands that you can find in a Sephora store. If you like one, it's easy to just go to the store and buy the full size version of it. And they give you a coupon for 50 extra beauty insider points as well. They also always include a fragrance sample. With Birchbox and Ipsy, I got too many skincare and hair samples which I didn't really want, and it was usually from brands I'd never heard of.

Boxy Charm and sephora Play. Boxy charm is a great deal!

I love Boxy Charm. I think it’s my favorite out of all the beauty ones I’ve tried.

After thinking about it, I’m realizing I have done a ton of subscription boxes. Most are good for awhile and then I get bored and cancel. But, the only one I have right now is Boxy Charm and my son gets Muchpak

On a side note, Amazon has boxes as well! Women's skin/hair care, Coffee/tea, Aveeno samples, Men's grooming, luxury beauty, Dog food/treats, Cat food/treats, Nutrition pack, etc.

Today, it's buy the box, and get a promo credit in the amount you pay. It's under the Deals tab.

  • For a limited time, buy this box for $9.99 and receive an equivalent credit toward a future purchase of select products shipped and sold from Amazon.com. See Terms and Conditions below for details.
  • A week after your product ships, you will receive an email with instructions on how to use your promotional credit.
  • Limit one promotional credit per customer. Sample box is available for Prime members only. Offer available for a limited time. Items may vary based on availability.
  • Each box contains 10 or more samples from participating brands.

I am in love with our Chef's Plate subscription. We've had maybe one total miss meal so far and most have been amazing. As two people who work weird hours and ordered a TON of delivery this has slashed our food budget! We cook way more than we used to. I'm searching for a knitting box I want to try right now...

We've had Try the World boxes for over 2 years now, I get every other month boxes. Thinking about cancelling as kids schedules make it harder to make the full meal and experience but we've loved it. So when they came out with a snack box version I got if for my college daughter-she's had great fun trying the snacks.
We've also tried taste trunk, Groovy lab in a box, and Loot Crate - all those were limited 3-6 month subscriptions as gifts.

I just remembered I got a couple months worth of Sprezza box for my husband. He really enjoyed the products in the box and as a guy who wears a suit and tie to work every day something that makes that fun is a bonus.

I'm not doing any subscription boxes at the moment, but in the past I've done Julep (beauty box), and a few meal boxes including Blue Apron and Sun Basket. I told my DH that if we ever win the lottery, we're doing Sun Basket every week! So hard to include boxes in my monthly budget, but they're fun to do every now and then.

We subscribe to the Stamps of Life monthly card kit, and have for several years. Each month we get enough craft supplies to make a dozen or so cards, usually with a unique stamp and die set. Lots of fun if you're in to card making or scrapbooking.

I know this thread is several months old but I wanted to warn people about BirchBox. Back in December 2016 I signed up for a 12-month subscription (for my daughter). The final box delivery was in November 2017 and I did not renew the subscription.

Today I was reviewing my credit card activity online and saw a $110 pending charge from BirchBox. When I logged into my BirchBox account it shows a "women's annual subscription renewal". I don't understand why 1) they renewed my subscription and 2) why they did it 6 month after the old subscription expired. And trying to get in touch with them is not easy - everything is online and you have to either e-mail, text, or set up an appointment for someone to call you back (???). There is no telephone number to call. I e-mailed them today. If I don't get a response I am disputing the charge on my credit card.

DD got Graze for a couple of years. She liked it because she is picky about food and you can customize it.

I got DGD a Pley box subscribtion for Christmas....the Disney princess one. I think she has gotten 3 so far. Each has a tee shirt and several other things. I think she likes it.
I would love to get her a baking one. She loves to bake with me, but she has allergies, so I don't think it will work

I would love an update on this when you hear back from them if you have a chance. I hope everything works out for you and they fix your issue. I needed to get in touch Graze this week about my subscription (or lack thereof, since I only had a three-month gift initially). They were easy to contact via email and got back to me promptly and professionally.

After I sent them an e-mail I went ahead and also scheduled a time for a rep to call be back. I was surprised when I did get a call back (from number "unknown"). They are going to cancel the renewal and credit my credit card. When I asked why they renewed the subscription 6 months after the initial one expired the rep said they'd been trying to renew the subscription for several months and it just went through. That makes no sense. But, all's well that ends well!
