Subs in Castaway Cay?

Anyone know how long ago this picture was taken?
Where are they now?

They sunk one in the snorkeling lagoon - you can see it if you swim out far enough. We loved finding it!

That looks like one of the subs from 20,000 leagues under the sea attraction that used to be at WDW.

Our 1st cruise in December 99 on the Wonder it was out in the snorkeling laggoon but not "sunk" yet.
When we returned in Sept. 2000 Dan noticed that it was "gone" he asked a CM who didn't Know what he was talking about --Thought he was wacko!
Dan later found out that day where the sub went while swimming.

Think about this.....

These are not something (as I remember) that could travel on their own to Castaway Cay. They were run on tracks in the park, and did not submerge.... you merely sat below the waterline.

So... how did they get them there??????????
