Subs are open

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage didn't open with the Park this morning, but are now open!

Good to hear! My girls were so bummed when they were under refurb on our trip this summer.

We spoke to a CM while we were there a week ago as we saw them running but still closed to see if there was any chance of a soft opening before we left, they were doing sub pilot training so a no go and he had said they would be up on the 27th-seems they were right on time.

Sub CMs told me Friday they didn't soft open because they had a technical issue they hadn't over come yet. On Saturday, they opened a short while after EMH and I rode. It's been freshened up nicely inside the subs and in the lagoon, but they took away the "Mine! Mine!" seagulls from the lagoon, too, which is a big bummer. A big part of atmosphere around the lagoon IMHO just gone now.

Unfortunately, the issue popped up again Saturday evening after my partner and I waited an hour in line. They cut the line at *US* (huge bummer), and emptied the queue, so my partner still has never ridden them. Anyone know what the issue is? Software? Mechanical?

So sad the "mine, mine" gulls are gone. They were our favorite part of the lagoon! A big part of me hopes they're coming back and are just delayed or something.

They were down for a few hours on Sunday morning. We got into the line as the CM's were saying they may open "soon" and waited about 10 minutes before they started letting us in.

I have to be honest - the Subs were the one ride I always fell asleep on, my kids would demand we ride it in the afternoon and its so dark and relaxing...... So I had a hard time remembering the old ride when I was last on it almost 2 years ago.
Updating my post: I just watched a video of the old ride and I'm not sure what they updated. Seems the same to me, although the subs had a freshly painted look.
There was a guy sitting next to me recording the entire thing ride so its probably up on YouTube soon.

Oh man, the seagulls were my favorite part!

We rode this morning. Really liked that they freshened everything up but was a little disappointed that they didn't add anything new. I thought they might have done so.

I too miss the mine mine mine seagulls. My daughter has the hoodie and she was looking for "her" seagulls.

Yes! They were not there Tues but were back on Wed! No changes to the ride though- we were hoping for some new effects.
