Sub QS for TS credits for some meals?

I have a few questions regarding the dining plan...

1. DD15 does not eat meat and prefers kid menu items (pizza, chicken tenders, buttered noodles, etc.) Would she be allowed to special order larger portions of kid menu items on the regular dining plan?

2. If we can't use all of our TS credits, can they be used as QS credits?

Please don't judge...I know, that would be a "waste" of TS but sometimes it's hard to get reservations at TS places (especially during FD). And I know, DD15 might seem crazy to prefer a big plate of buttered noodles over a NY Strip steak, but it is what it is.

Not trying to cheat the system, just trying to figure out if it's worth upgrading from (free) QS to regular DP so I can enjoy a few TS places (I would likely be paying OP for these places if we stick with the QS anyway).

#1. It depends on the restaurant. You will have to ask because some places will make a larger portion, while others may not or the item cannot be upsized.

#2. The 2013 DDP brochure says you can use a TS credit for a QS meal. I've never done it, but posters have said you have to use up all your QS credits before restaurants can start using your TS credits.
