We are using a town car service to get from the airport to our resort. Does anyone know if we'll be able to pick an inexpensive foam cooler up at the grocery stop?

Probably. I say that because this is Florida, and every grocery store I've ever been to has them. You might have to look a little bit as they are usually on the top of the aisles. (Now just watch, I'll say this, you'll stop and they won't have one!!)

We picked up a wonderful folding cooler, thinking we would pack it in suitcases (~$10 last year) at K-mart. We love it! We actually pack it with snacks (in Tupperware containers, so they won't squish..then use containers for ice) and check it. I swear they treat it nicer than our suitcases. Once there, we put ice in tw containers and put our milk/cheese/drinks in it. When it's time to go home, we stack our tw containers together (to conserve room),put our dirty laundry in the cooler, and use our suitcases for souvernirs.

I got my colapsible cooler with wheels and a handle at Sears!!

I would give the Publix a call a few days before. It might be something they have a lot of year round. I would think so, being in orlando.

We purchased one of the styrofoam coolers at Publix, for just a couple of dollars. We kept milk, juice and a few other small things in it, for breakfast mostly. We filled it daily with ice from the machine (bring your own ziplocs to make ice bags....) and for added insulation we wrapped the cooler in a towel from the hotel room. It worked perfectly for us.

Goodings supermarket near disney carries inexpensive styrofoam
coolers. We purchased one the last time we went to keep our
milk and lunch meat in. I don't think it was more than $5.00

Thanks for the responses. I may try to pick up a collapsable cooler if I can find one before we go. Unfortunately, by this time of the year they may already be clearanced out in WI! Most stores are already packed to the gills with winter stuff. It's very depressing:(

In any event, it's good to know I should be able to get a cheap one down there. Thanks for your help.:D
