STYLUS 850SW CAMERA LCD screen goes black

My camera is about 2 years old. Not used a ton. Mainly got it for underwater and water parks. When we were in florida a few months ago it started to shut off. We thought it was the battery cause it would come back to life. Bought a new battery and we are still having the problem.
It still takes pictures but at times there is nothing showing up on the LCD. Unfortunately it has no eye piece. Any idea what is going on?
It really is a fun camera and took nice pictures....

Well, I'm no repair expert, but it sounds like its broke to me! Lol, could be a contact for your screen is broken, if theres any warranty on it I'd send it in...
