How deep is the pool at the end of Crush N gusher? Also how deep are the other pools at the end of the slides?

Most are about 3 ft .

C&G I would say about 4 1/2 ft but you normally make it over to the steps so not sure.

These are just from what I recall from riding all the slides but I do know they are marked as well.

The exit areas are not deep. Also, there are lifeguards at all the slide exit areas.

I hit the bottom of C&G with my knees once after coming off and having DW flip me over so it isn't that deep. I don't remember any where I couldn't stand up easily once I got off the ride.

stupid Typhoon Lagoon Question...
Just wanted to say, there are no stupid questions; if it's a question, it's a good one. :thumbsup2

I think it is a very good question - We have never gone to the water parks and since my son wants to go there on our next trip, the answers you get will come in handy for our venture. :goodvibes

My husband is guessing 3 and a half feet deep. He said it went to his waist when he stood up.

3ft, I'm a wimp... I made sure of it before I would go on any of the slides

If you are afraid because you don't like water don't worry too much. I don't swim and I don't like to go under but I was O.K. I did all the slides, C&G included. I went under every time but it's not too hard to get up. DH always went down first so he could help me get up quick before I panicked. There lifegaurds everywhere too. If a forty-something old big scaredy cat like me can do it anyone can. :goodvibes

I can't swim and have a fear of deep water, but I just had to try C n G. It was great, I flew out of my raft at the end once though and landed in the water but I was able to stand up straight away. :thumbsup2

It's nice to know I'm not the only forty-something scaredy cat. :lmao:
My son wants to go to the water parks on our nest trip. I told him I would take him to one - you guys make me think I might actually might be able to get through it! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My DH cannot swim or float at all. He goes on all of the slides and even the wave pool (doesn't cross the red line). SO if that is your worry. . . you should be fine. The pools at the end of slides are 4 feet or less.

And the only stupid question is the question you do not ask.

How chilly do the waterslide parks feel right now? It's probably all relative, so let's say I'm coming from weather that's below freezing.

We keep all the water at TL, except Shark Reef, heated to about 27C.

we went to typhoon lagoon with my 7 yr old who cant swim at all he wore the life vest the whole time and had the best time ever. One thing i did notice is disney lifeguards are the very best i have ever seen . I was in the wave pool with my boy and we got knocked down by the wave and before i could get up there was a guard there lifting my son up and asking if i was ok. As for the water slide bottoms im 5'2 and had no prob standing up. May you have a great time at the waterparks cause typhoon lagoon is so much fun
