Stupid tip question....

Where do you leave the tip for the maids so that they can see them?

Also, do you do one big tip at the end of the week, or a little each day?

I know a lot of people who would leave it on the pillow or somewhere the maids know it is meant for them. If you leave it on the coffee table, they may just think you left some money behind.

I usually leave it out with a little thank you so they know it's for them. Also, I leave a little bit each day since you never know if the same person will be cleaning your room for the entire stay.

adding to the above posts....I would leave a little each day cause it might be different maids everyday. Its entirely up to you.

We do the same, leave a note on the table with the money, and sometimes they make the towel animals, which my kids love

You want to make sure you leave something that states its for them-- they are not aloud to take it unless it is clearly marked that the money is left as a tip for their work.

I am one of those dorks who do that

I usually prop it up w/ something to ensure they see it. I also do a little each day.

Oh, I do them myself, and I am not at all creative so they're not that great. I just write "mousekeeping" and put Disney stickers and stamps on them.
