Stupid ticket question

If you have an After Hours ticket and a regular ticket linked to your Magic Band how do you make sure a day isn't subtracted from your park pass when you enter the park at 7PM? If there is room for error here I am sure the error will happen to me.

If you have an After Hours ticket and a regular ticket linked to your Magic Band how do you make sure a day isn't subtracted from your park pass when you enter the park at 7PM? If there is room for error here I am sure the error will happen to me.

I've only done this with party tickets, but assume the After Hours is done the same way. There will be a special entrance, well-marked, for the After Hours guests. As long as you go through that entrance, it will take the correct ticket.
