Don't grumble, but I really can't figures out these tesco clubcards. :confused3 I have had one for a while. What I want to know is- when they send your statement with the voucher to spend off food, if you want to, if I don't use it have I lost that voucher/money off for good? Or do you just not use them and let them accumlate and is that how you save and change them for airmiles? I know you can get airmiles but I don't know how?
Thanks any help will be appreciated:thumbsup2 - and yes I have looked at the web site, but I must be missing it if it actually says what I want to know.

If you go to the Tesco Site then on the bottom Clubcard image click on Clubcard Deals that will take you thru to show you how it works (Im new to it as well!!). There is then a link on the left for Airmiles.

Basically, you get your 1/4ly statement with your vouchers. Keep the vouchers safe somewhere and save them up. Have a look at the DEALS part of the Clubcard site to see how many Vouchers you need to convert into DEALS.

£10 in Vouchers = £40 in deals (so is therefore better value than spending your £10 vouchers in store).
Airmiles works a bit different - £2.50 in Vouchers will get you 60 Airmiles.

You need to then look at the "Zones" to work out how many miles you need (click on the Airmiles map and it will open up a new window for you) - Orlando is Zone 5 which is 6,500 miles (per person I think).

So, according to my calculator, you need to get £272.50 in Vouchers which will buy you 109 sets of 60 Airmiles (6,500 miles divided by 60 = 109 sets of 60 Airmile Deals x £2.50 (cost per 60 Airmiles) = £272.50.

Is that clear as mud?

Each voucher has an expiry date on it - if you don't convert it to deals vouchers or use it in store against your shopping then you can convert it back to points and then they will include it in your next statement again so you don't miss out on using the voucher.

Woohoo, that's just what I needed to know :thumbsup2 I'm due to have some vouchers in November but I'm trying to save up towards a holiday and didn't want to have the vouchers run out of date

:thanks:

I'm confused.com :rotfl:
i have some vouchers but havent really looked into it properly to see how it all works.

Im a bit like that as well - and hubby didn't believe me when I started explaining it to him - so showed him the website and wrote down what it was saying - and not he believes me (makes a change!!)

Thanks girls for the info. I'm now going to find my vouchers - don't think I've thrown them all away, and read up on the web site as per Mandys' instructions.
