Stupid Question

I did do a search before asking this and nothing came up.....What is an AP? People use this for multiple trips to Disney in a year....is it some sort of discount?

It's an annual pass. You can check out the prices on Disneyworld.com. There are still codes that I see and don't get so there are never stupid questions!!!
