stupid question?

We are staying at CBR in August. It is our first time staying on Disney property. If we wound up staying far from OPR, can you drive there or is it only walking to that part of the property? I dont want to walk 15 -20 minutes just for a cup of coffee although I could use the walk. Also, when do you request the view you want? We booked through a travel agent and Im not sure Im happy with them. She never asked us what we wanted. Do you request the view when you fax the request for a building or is it something you ask for upon checking in? Maybe I should call them directly. THANKS

I have heard that if you book using a travel agent, the agent is the one who has to make changes/requests. If this is so (and I'm sure someone will know on this board), I would call your agent and have them call WDW and request either Jamaica or Martinique. Both are close to pool/OPR. You can try calling yourself. All they can do is tell you that your TA has to be the one to call. Good luck and have fun planning!!

If you have a disney reservation number you should be able to contact the front desk 3-4 days prior to your arrival. Even if you dont they will be able to bring up your resv by your last name. Just make sure you include as much info as possible. Dates, both Husband & Wife's name.

I also booked thru a travel agent and when WDW decided to close POFQ as of 5/4 I called CRO and was told that they could not help me dorectly, everything had to go thru the agent.
I'll never use an agent again. I prefer to have a little more control by dealing dorectly with CRO.
