Stupid question.. Do they make ink erasers?

I have important papers that I filled out in ink, but my eyes skipped on some questions and the wrong response is with a different question.
I used a pen base pen so there was no eraser on it. I don't want to cross off, so I was hoping someone would know if I could get an ink eraser and if that would work on all ink, if they even make them.
Thanks

I don't think so. Unless it's erasable ink. That's why important papers and checks have to be filled out in ink. Sorry.

Yes, they make them. Just be careful it doesn't smudge your paper and make it worse then if you used white out.

Ink erasers, when not on the erasable pens, and a white color. Not the pink pencil eraser kind. At least that's the kind I have in my desk drawer.

good luck

Are you people kidding me? You can erase regular ink?? Why do we have to fill things out in pen then?

What if I use white out then photo copy the paper, will it look obvious?

Well, to be quite honest, the ink erasers don't work that well, unless it's on erasable ink. You have to be very careful when you use them, because they tend to tear the paper as you rub to get all the ink off.:)

It you use whiteout and a photo copy, then all the rest of it that you filled out correctly will be copied and not original ink. Not sure if that matters but most Important papers need to be originals and not copies but then Im not sure what kind of Important papers you are talking about

I have several ink erasers - the kind they used to sell when people still used typewriters.. They're like a long pencil (so you can sharpen them as they wear down) and there's this bristle brush type thing on the other end to wipe away the dust from erasing.. If you use this type carefully (don't push too hard - just keep going over the area lightly) they work very well and normally don't tear the paper..

Only thing is, I'm not sure if you can purchase them anymore.. Best place to look would be Office Max or Staples..

I've only had moderate success with them, but Staples carries them. They'll be white or a pale grey.

Work LIGHTLY with it, and know that there will be *some* smudging even with a light touch. Too hard, and you will rip a hole in the paper. I've done that too many times. Fortunately, I had additional copies of those forms to fill out-the OP probably doesn't.
