Stupid question - do strollers get stolen often?

All I can say is that we have been going with at least one stroller for 9 years now, consisting of over 20 trips. We have taken from very nice strollers down to umbrella strollers, we took a sit-n-stand the last few trips. We take our cameras but have left stuff in the bottom of the stroller. The only incident we had was when a squirrel got into our bag of trail mix that we left on the seat, man did they leave a mess

20+ trips with a Mac and now a CitiMini and never an issue. I would guess somewhere about 100-120 days in the parks.

So it may happen but I would not say often.

You can super easily remove the front wheel of your city mini. You could just take it with you, and the CMs can still wheel around your stroller on its back wheels. Granted, it might look weird if you don't have a bag to tuck it into

Not real sure, but I saw this posted elsewhere as a deterant, take an infant diaper and smear some brown mustard on it and leave it on the stroller seat. No one will mess with your stroller !!!

That doesn't make sense. Who would leave a dirty diaper in their stroller when there are trash cans every 10 feet?

Yes, strollers get stolen all the time. I'm always amazed when I look at the stroller parking areas and seeing the cameras, purses, etc people leave right on their strollers. I know, pixie dust and magical place, blah, blah, blah - stuff gets stolen.
