Stupid Question - Diz or Diss?

I know this is a very strange question, but I've been unsure since I first came on here.

Is DIS pronounced Diz as in Disney, or Diss as in Discussion, or a combination of the two? Are we Dizzers or Dissers?

Apologies for my mentality but it's been a long day in work.
Please, someone, put me out of my misery!
