We are going to the ft. in mid November of 2011. Was wondering what some thought will be on if you think we will need the heater at night in the pop up? :surfweb:

Definitely bring it! We've been there in mid-November and experienced nights in the low 30s.

I'll chime in and agree with the previous posters.

You never know what you're going to get in October or November.

Sometimes it's hot as heck, and sometimes it's cold as heck.

Definitely bring the heater!

A electric small space heater is all you need for a pop-up camper that time of year. The good news is that if it does get real cold, the cold seldom hangs around for long that time of year.

We've needed heaters in April before so you never know !

We were there last November and the kids were able to swim but like other posters have said it can be very cold.We also had a pup for many years and always had a small space heater with us

We left the Fort Friday, Dec 3 to head home this year.

3 days prior it was 80-ish.

The night before we left it was 34 degrees.

'nuff said. ;)

We have a Mr. Heater portable buddy that runs on the small propane bottles. Will be bringing that with all the safety gadgets that goes with it. :surfweb:

We have lived in Florida for 20 years. Some times we swam in November and even December. That happen maybe 3 times, so bring the heater, hooded shirts, gloves and long warm pants. One November at then MGM for christmas lights we had 3 sweaters, long paints and could have used gloves. On another trip to MGM in november shorts and sandles. :santa:
