Stupid question about alcohol in desserts

Ok please don't laught but i honestly don't know. My 10 year old is on the adult dining plan so and am unsure whether he can have the adult desserts that contain alcohol as I don't know if it burns off during cooking making it safe for him. Obviously I wouldn't give him alcohol but if it's just flavouring then thats fine. Also we tend to share/taste others meals so need tom know where I stand.

Whether alcohol burns off in cooking...it depends how it was used in the dish. That being said, there's not going to be enough in there to have an effect on your son...it really is being used as a flavoring. Don't worry about it and enjoy.

Vanilla extract has a very high alcohol content, read the label. Don't worry about it unless your child has some kind of allergy to alcohol.

A restaurant wouldn't serve an item to a minor unless the alcohol level is insignificant.

We came back from dining at Boma's.
On their dessert station a few desserts had signage stating there was alcohol in the dessert. Obviously being out in the open, anyone could have taken it.
With one dessert I could tell the alcohol was in it more so than another, that I could barely taste at all.
If in doubt, ask a server at that time.

I would not worry too much, Whats little in the dessert should have little to no effect. My DS8 and DB10 during our first trip had desserts with alcohol in them since we all share and were ok.

I would start to worry when you 10 year old starts to have slurred speech and cant walk in a straight line.

Umm! on second thought thats the normal affect after a large meal at Disney, No alcohol drinks, just a lot of good food,
