I hate myself!!! I had 2 rooms held at the AKL for May 28-June 1. It was using one of the discount codes that expired on 4/18. I don't remember what the code was but the rate was $139 excluding tax. Anyway, I thought I had until 4/19 to call back in and give my credit card number and I was mistaken and missed it by a couple of days, and lost my rooms. And by then the codes had just expired the day before. Obviously my kids are very upset, as I am because I had gotten every ones hopes up about staying there. I am not a Florida resident, nor am I an annual passport holder. Does anyone know of any other discount codes that are in progress right now for those dates? Thank you very much

cword,

I have done that too, and boy did I feel bad! We still ended up with a nice trip to Disney and you will too. The only thing I can think of right now is AAA. Good luck!

Don't feel too bad, I waited too long to add extra days to our trip, so my kids are mad at me too. I don't know if there is any chance of another code for those dates, I sort of doubt it though. Check the AAA rates.

You might try the Swan or Dolphin. They give gov't rates, teacher rates, etc. Or try travelocity. Their rates are very good for the Summer Dreammaker packages. You may can salvage your trip without breaking the bank! I hope it works out for you.:teeth:

Would you be willing to purchase an AP to get the discount? When I called to change my ressie this Tues, there were AP discounts at WL and AKL for June 17-24 Not sure about the other dates. Would that be an option? Woods view at WL was $139.

Yes, I would be willing to do this. But I had already purchased Fun in the sun tickets. If I could sell either an adult or child fun in the sun ticket, then I could buy an AP, but I don't know how to go about doing that. The fun in the sun tickets are great tickets. Good for 30 days to all the parks, and water parks as well. Similiar to the ultimate hopper except good for a full 30 days. Even includes a character breakfast. They are a great deal. I paid I think $325 for the adult and $265 for the kids. If I could sell one then I would. Any ideas on best way to do this? Thanks to all for your help in this.

You might be able to exchange one of the adult "Fun in the Sun" tickets for an AP when you arrive for about $50 more, or $150 more for a PAP.

If the AP savings make up the difference, that may be an option.

Carol

How can I find out if I can do this? I would be willing to pay the extra. Do you have any idea how I can find out if this is possible? Also, how would I work that out with the hotel? Wouldn't I have to already have the AP when I checked in to the hotel? Would they believe me if I told them I was going to trade up to the AP? Don't I have to present it at check in? Sorry so many questions, but this is the first time I have heard about this, and I am excited at the possibility. There are still rooms at the WL for $139 using the AP rate. I held 2 rooms saying I was getting an AP, so I will have to make this happen or either cancel these rooms. Thank you to anyone who can give me any advice on this.
