Have any of you heard (been with or overheard someone) who said something and you just had to look at them like "Well, DUURRR"? I mean someone, who knows, maybe it was you, just said something really dumb and crazy.

Ok, here's my story:
I was in Disney with my friends on my band trip. We were riding the fairy boat back to TTC after a very long, hot, tiring day. We were all very delusional and basically just needed to go to bed. We were looking out the window of the ferry, with our heads sticking out. All of a sudden, my friend says "Look at those birds! Those are some big birds! Those aren't birds are they?" Me and another friend on the other side of the one talking just looked at eachother and were like "Oh my!" Then the other friend says "No, those are buoys." The rest of the ride, we were just being dumb. If you were sitting there on the bench, you would have thought, well I don't know what you would have thought. But you definitly would want to stay far away from us forever! LOL. That was one crazy boat ride.

So, who's next?

HAHA. I post a thread about stupid comments and I misspell the title. WOW! How appropriate is that?

I really was laughing at your story. I could see me doing that on a good day! :lmao:

Haha. I know you were laughing at the story. LOL. I just thought it was funny that I misspelled the title in a thread about stupidity. LOL. My friend is going to be mad that I told yall that story, though. LOL.

:rolleyes2 This wasn't a stupid comment I overheard just plain not nice. There were newlyweds going by ( you know with the ears on) and some man said that the bride looked old enough to be his Mother.

Well being the nice person that I am....I told him that he wasn't being very nice at all. Then he told his wife that next time he would say it a little lower. Mean huh???? Shirley :furious:

thats ok. I have one but it wasn't said at the parks, it was at work. A guy I work with goes to Florida every winter. While he was there this past winter he worked at MGM studios. I told 2 people that he was working at MGM studios, and they both replied back to me, saying No he is working at DISNEY! :rolleyes1

Thats horrible! People can be so rude sometimes.

Heres another one (not really stupid. It was very nice to hear after a long day at the parks):
In January, my family and I did all 4 parks in one day. We ended with Fantasmic, which is my favorite attraction. It was packed as always and we sat down next to this older couple. The woman started talking to me and she told me that she brought her kids who are now grown to WDW when they were little, but the guy she was with (her boyfriend maybe?) had never been. That day was their first day at the parks. She leaned over to me and said that she was very disappointed because all the park seemed to be was just shops and advertising. She asked me if that was all there was to Disney. I said no and I told her that she should go to MK the next day, because I think that MK is truly what Disney is about. I love all the other parks, but if you hadn't been to Disney ever before and you could only visit one park, it should be MK. So then the show started and about half way through, I happened to look over at her and she was just sitting there in amazement. I mean you could just tell that she was truly loving it. A few minutes later, she leaned over to me and said "Oh, I just love Mickey! Isn't Mickey just wonderful? I think he is! Isn't he wonderful?" It was very cool. You could tell that she was truly enjoying herself. Her face was like what people talk about when their little kids meet Mickey for the first time.
