Here is a place for Disney transportation (or other transportation) tricks.
For instance....
When catching a bus to the Epcot resorts from the AK, take the MGM bus if it comes first or is less crowded. You can walk easily or take the boat from MGM.
Same thing going to the MK resorts from the MK - sometimes the MK bus will get you there faster and/or more comfortably.
The ferry from TTC to MK is almost always faster in the morning than the monorail.
Sometimes its easier to catch a bus to the TTC and then monorail to Epcot than to catch the Epcot bus - if you watch the Epcot bus pull out the the TTC bus pull in, consider getting on it.
Consider stopping at a hotel for a drink after fireworks, than catching a cab to your resort once the traffic clears out. The cab isn't TOO expensive, and its much more pleasant than those crowded park closing buses.
Or - Loiter a little at closing time - Disney will get you back (unless you loiter past the last bus) and the last bus is seldom as crowded as the first bus. In our case - it was the boat after Fantasmic back to the BW.....leaving with our slow group (two seniors, two preschoolers) meant we took a long time to leave - and then both preschoolers needed seperate potty trips, so we ended up on the last boat - comfortably - and got treated to our very own "Illuminations Cruise"
