Hi, how long do you think we need leave between the estimated end time of the motors action stunt show and a lunch reservation in the village? I remember the last time we watched the stunt show a couple of years ago there was quite a crowd getting out.

Also does it matter if you are a bit late for a reservation? Thanks Jo

It depends where you're sitting. It can take anything between 5 and 10 minutes to exit the seating area.

It'd then take a further 10 minutes to walk to the village.

I'd probably book it for 20-30 mins after the show finishes.

once you're out of the stunt show exit, you're no more than 5 minutes stroll to the Village. You can be up to 15 minutes late for your restaurant reservation before you lose it.
If your experience has been that it takes, say, 10 minutes to get out of the stunt show, I'd book my table in the Village for 30 minutes after the stunt show end time, I'd rather be early for my reservation than late and risk losing my table.

Thanks, I was thinking about 30 minutes. I would rather be early too but want to book lunch as early as possible so we can try and make it back for stars and cars otherwise we will probably miss it this trip.

what amount of time do you have between the end of the stunt show and the start of Stars n Cars? And what date is this plan for? A busy day?

Thanks for your help. It is for ascension day so will be very busy:confused3.

On this weeks times stunt show will finish about 12 and stars and cars is 1.45 which I just don't think is doable but I keep checking the new schedules and the times seem to be changing every week. I reckon we might do it if the stunt show was on at 11, finish about 11.45 and stars and cars was a little bit later.

We are thinking of eating at the steakhouse if it is open because I think counter service might be a bit of a nightmare when it is busy.

There is also the option to see a 4ish showing of the stunt show if this won't work out. Just working through lots of possibilities at the moment:rotfl: (but we all know that is half the fun!)

I'd be tempted, as you're going to Cafe Mickey for your special dinner later that day, to skip the Steakhouse and attempt to eat at the Blockbuster cafe - if you go there straight from the stunt show you should easily be fed and watered by 1.15, when really you'd need to be staking out your spot at Cars n Stars. Or you could nip to the train station instead, pick up some filled baguettes (there is also a patisserie/cafe inside the entrance there).

You know our plans better than I do:rotfl: It is quite tempting to just do cs. We chose to eat 2 ts meals that say because it was a busy day and cs seems to be very slow even on quiet days:confused3

If we do cs we also have the problem of what to do with our other half board plus voucher. We have loved having the vouchers in the past for the convenience of knowing that we have some nice meals paid for in advance and not feeling that we need to eat the cheapest things to keep costs down. This year the vouchers are causing more headaches than they are worth:sad2:
