I admit I am an overplanner (is that possible for a disney trip?) and an overpacker. I have been starting to think about our November trip and have been looking over the lists from last year. One page (yes, I like lists) was things to bring back from the previous years trip -- things like the princess dresses, Glow with the Show ears, regular Mickey Ears, sorcerer hat, Rapunzel hat, autograph pens, and a few stuffed animals.
Do you bring this kind of stuff back year after year?

Yes we bring stuff every year back. Character hats, pin lanyards, ears, Disney clothes (t-shirts, pjs, bathing suits), magnets from our cruise. I even purchased a verabradley disney design purse that I use only for my dis trips.

We used to but we have paired down soooo much over the years. We buy little and carry little and dress very simply at WDW. In fact I just bought us new carry on bags. Our local, very small airport has an amazing deal for flights to Florida that makes it very worth it for us to fly but they charge for any checked bags. Bought each of us a bag that will JUST fit into the carry on category so we will be pairing down even more and checking no bags. If however you will end up buying the same things again, and have the room, bring it back for sure!!!!

We used to when the kids were smaller - from ages 4-8 they loved that stuff and it was helpful to bring it back with us rather than buy new ones each trip. However, our last trip the kids opted not to bring light sabers, autograph books, ears, etc along, and they didn't miss them at all. Our youngest DD is now too old to wear princess dresses in the parks. And, the kids are more about the rides and less about the "stuff" now. However, I imagine now that our youngest is nearly 3, we might be bringing it all along with us again! (especially the pirate sword and hat!) :)

Things we DO still always bring back with us: Disney water mister fan thing on a lanyard, ponchos from previous trips, and our Mickey Birthday Cake with light-up candles hat. And, Disney-themed shirts, jackets and baseball caps.

Definitely. We bring back ears, unfinished autograph books, pins, lanyards, ponchos... I'm sure there's more.

Favorite lanyard, unfinished autograph books ( I do finish them but somehow they never come out even with any single visit), ponchos.
