Two quick questions:

1) Can we pack aersol sunscreen in checked luggage? I'm assuming yes b/c I think you can pack similar hairspray.

2) What is the rule for OTC liquid meds in carry-ons? Do I just declare dds' motrin even though it's more than 3 ozs? Does it still go in the baggie?

9 days and counting!!!!

Aerosals in quantities for personal use such as hair spray or deoderant can be packed in checked bags. Sunscreen would fall into the same group. SO you're all good there.

As far as teh Motrin, this is from teh TSA web site:

Non-prescription liquid or gel medicines like cough syrup and gel cap type pills - You are allowed to carry up to 3 oz., of eye drops in a clear, one-quart plastic bag. Volumes greater than 3 oz. must be declared to the Security Officer and cannot be carried in your clear, one-quart bag. So the answer is yes, you can take it in your carry-on, but it has to be declared. have a great trip!
