Stuff for Stuff certificates not good at Build a Dino at T-Rex, so...

I just called Build a Bear and confirmed this. Since Build a Dino at the T-Rex location is owned by T-Rex and not Build a Bear, you can not use Build a Bear certificates there. Can anyone confirm that if I buy my child a T-Rex Cafe gift card if it can be used to purchase Build a Dino merchandise? (I am assuming this would be the case...) Thanks!

I am also curious. I had been saving Build a Bear discount coupons and free merchandise certificates for T-Rex. That's a bummer.

Really? They let me use my Stuff for Stuff card to get points for our purchase. I wonder why they won't let you use the certificates if you can get the points??

I used the T-rex cafe gift card to make the build a dino in 2008. It was too busy to eat there so I was able to let dd make the worlds most expensive stuffed dino... She was thrilled and it was like $48 after she bought "Sue" clothes, shoes, and built her.

I get them thru mypoints so it was alright with me but that was alot.

If you look at your coupons and Stuff Fur Stuff certificates, it tells you in the fine print that they are not good for Build-A-Dino or the Build-A-Bear inside RFC.

Build-A-Dino inside T-Rex does take Landry's gift cards. And they should let you use your Stuff Fur Stuff card to get the points. If not, keep your receipt and then you can call Build-A-Bear and have the points added on to your account later. I had to do this when we went to Build-A-Dino right after T-Rex opened, they added the points when I called without a problem.

I do not know what you mean exactly by this. Are you saying I can get points to my account for the purchase, but not use my certificate to MAKE the purchase? Sorry, I don't understand the program as well as I should...

I am not talking about earning points. I am saying I have a $10 certificate from accumulating points. I wanted my child to be able to use that, but I called and they said he could not.

I know what you meant. I was just saying that I thought it was strange that they would let me get the points for the purchase but that the certificate from accumulating the points can't be used. It's weird and confusing. Why let you do one and not the other?

I'm not sure if this will help, but I just visited Disney about 3 weeks ago. I had a Build-A-Bear Gift Card I had received at Christmas and I was able to use that. The Stuff-fur-Stuff Certificate I received the week I got home from Disney is not valid at Build-A-Dino. I don't know anything about the restaurant gift cards, but Build-A-Bear gift cards should work at Build-A-Dino.

I was hoping build-a-bear gift cards would work at build-a-dino. My son's school participates with the scrip program and i've been buying gift cards for Disney for spending money while we are there. They do have Build-a-Bear cards and I was holding off...

I just called Stuff for Stuff (twice/spoke with two different people to confirm) and was told that Stuff for Stuff Certificates could definitely be used at the T-Rex Cafe Lake Buena Vista Build a Dino location (not the Kansas City location).
