Studios Overload, a Pop Mishap and One Smooth Talking Hubby FINAL DAY UP. PG 68

Love ~ thanks for answering me and Sharky's questions. Gotta do our homework before the meet. Glad I'm not the only one that will be doing the Sharky slip up :rotfl:

Sharky ~ Great update. Your day on Dec. 7th mimics mine pretty good so looks like we'll be able to stalk each other at the parks for at least one day :woohoo::thumbsup2

Oh really

Cool. I did not know we would match that day. I thought u were at DHS that day

Sweet :cool1:

Sharky -- good schedule! I like your restaurant choices and definitely look forward to seeing how you like them.

We ate at Chefs-France and enjoyed the meal (definitely not as good as Le Cellier, but it was good.)

Me too!!:lmao:

I know...so wish I could meet you all...darn that BLT filling up during December!!

Darn BLT goers :headache:

Thanks Marsha

I am excited to try some new places

After reading my title again, I hope no one got the wrong idea. It kind of sounds like I think my Pre-Trip Report is the best since sliced pie... That is not the case at all.

My most favorite thing in the world is my family of course

Which is then followed by Disney World :wizard:

Last, but not Least, the Christmas Season :santa:

Spending the Christmas Season with my Family at Disney World is like a dream come true to me.

DOESN'T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THIS ;)

Up Next.............Tentative list of ADRs

And here I was thinking "It don't get better than this" because you are going with out your Mom :guilty: and you were happy to be without us this trip :rotfl:]

Glad to hear its because you are going at Christmas time!!!! :yay:

Marshay asked if we had free dining and I thought I get to that question before I give the list of our tentative adrs.

When we first booked this trip, we were using a CM Room Only Discount and planned on eating mainly counter service meals. We were going to pay Oop for one or two table service meals.

Then, when They released the Free dining Fall Package for general public, I did some math and figured out that was a better savings for us.

Since we are staying at a value, we were to get the Quick Service Plan for free. Well, I did the math and figured out for only $127.00 more, we could upgrade to the Regular Dining Plan

How could we turn that down

So Marshay, the answer to your question......Yes, we do have free dining popcorn::

In making up our list of ADRs, had to take into consideration a few things.

First being, DS is the pickiest eater you will ever meat. When most picky kids will at least Hotdogs or Peanut Butter and Jelly. Not my DS....

Second, DH had put in a request to eat a few buffets, his favorite and to eat a couple times in the World Showcase. Since he never gets his way, I Figured I be the nice wife and grant him this request

Finally, I really want all of us to see some of the Deluxe Resorts Christmas Decorations. I don't want to take a special trip just to see them, taking away from Park time. I thought best solution would be to eat at TS meals at some of these Resorts.

The List

Rose and Crown Pub - Dinner

LeCellier - Dinner (hopefully)

1900 Park Fare - Dinner

Chef Mickey's - Dinner

Kona - Breakfast

Boma - Breakfast

Now we have only done Boma for dinner, but never experienced Breakfast there. I hear it is out of this word. I am very exicted about this one :woohoo:

We did 1900 Park Fare for Breakfast almost ten years ago, so this will be new to us too, as it will be dinner and different Characters. princess:

Chef Mickey's is the first character Meal we ever did as a family. DS had one request this year and that was to see Mickey Mouse. This is way better than standing in a long line to see him :thumbsup2

Le Cellier, Rose and Crown and Kona are first for us. I am dying to try some Tonga Toast. I hear it is awesome :cool1:

I know LeCellier is a very popular restaurant and I may not be able to get it for dinner or even lunch.

As a back up, We are going to try for Late lunch at Le Chefs De France. That would be another new one for us.

There you have it, that is our list :teacher:

Wow, that is quite a list of restaurants, I'll be curious how they are and if they had good stuff for DS as I know he isn't going to eat too much, no matter where he eats, lol. I always wanted to try Le Cellier but they were way too expensive, good way to eat there when on the dining plan!

Silly Mother

Thanks

I found a few things he would eat at some of those places

Two are for breakfast so he will be fine there at least

Yeah, could never afford to eat there out of pocket

you guys are too funny (did you notice I said 'you guys' instead of y'all this time? )

Cheri, now you sound like you are from NJ! hahaha, believe it or not Bryan had a rental call this week to take to MS and guess what, it had a NJ license plate on it? Isn't that weird, he got it at the Alexandria airport here in LA!

And since I have told Chris what I call you all on here this is how I will have to introduce you all to him.

"This is Nicole, the one we call Love on DIS. This is John, the one we call UJ on DIS. And this is Kelly, the one we call Sharky on DIS." :lmao: Maybe we need to start practicing Tom's name as well since we all seem to call him Tomato here. Might be a little awkward to call him Tomato to his face :rotfl:

Its funny how you are all practicing names, at least when I met ya'll or, youse guys, lol, I could call you Carla and Chris and Cheri and Mike and Betsy as you use your names on here, but I can't imagine calling Tom Tomato, LMAO! That would be a riot! Also introducing Bryan to Love, UJ and Tomato would be too funny! :lmao:

Reading this reaaaaaally is starting to make me jealous....

Yea, I hear ya, me too Cheri. I feel like if Kelly is going I should be going with her but its not happening this time. :sad1:

I thought I mix thing up a bit, and throw green into the mix, keeping in the Christmas Spirit :santa:

With the hours not being released yet, I looked up last year's park hours and made a tentative itinerary based on that :teacher:

Wed, Dec 2nd : Flights not booked yet, but should arrive around 2pm, Check in, Grab a bite at food court and head over to DTD. If time allows, we will head over to Epcot to get a little taste of the parks that night

Thurs, Dec 3rd: Breakfast at Food Court, Pool time if warm enough. Then over to Chef's Mickeys for an early dinner. Then onto MVMCP(not definite yet, but hopefully)

Fri, Dec 4th: DHS in the morning. Have a CS meal here, then take the friendship boat over to Epcot. Late dinner at Rose and Crown. Hoping to time it right to be able to watch Illuminations. EMH might be that night, but will probably cut out around 9:30. Head back to POP for our 10:30 DIS MEET at Hippy Dippy Pool :yay:

Sat, Dec 5th: Late Breakfast at Boma, head over to AK for a few hours. Then to hotel to relax a little bit and then hit DHS to go see Osborne lights. Since DHS closes so early, time for another trip to DTD :woohoo:

Sun, Dec 6th: Breakfast at Food Court, on to Epcot, Hoping to get an early dinner or late lunch at LeCellier. I have Le Chefs De France as a back up in case we can't get in there. Then we will take the frienship boat over to DHS. Hoping it is EMH like last years schedule. I am very determined to finally catch Fantasmic :wizard:

Mon, Dec 7th: Late breakfast at Kona. Bus over to Epcot for awhile. Possible break at hotel. Then head over to TTC, to get monorail for Grand Floridian for late dinner at Cinderella's Gala Feast. Then over to MK, for what I hope will be EMH

Tues, Dec 8th: Last Day :sad2: Pack up and check out. Eat breakfast at Food court. Then, it is up to my boys  to pick the final park. Hoping to get the latest flight out, so we have at least half day at one of the parks.

I am sure once it is time for ADRs, this will change

Up Next...Counting down to ADR Day popcorn::

Sounds good. Do you think you'll be able to stick to it? We didn't quite stick to our plans last October, lol. Wow I can't believe its almost a year since we were there together. Time flies too darn fast!

Awesome..glad he knows about Tomato :rotfl2:

Oh sweet. I was guessing the ages for all of them with Carla and I was right. :yay:

This is cool as Trent will be 6, so not far in age from the boys.

That will be nice for him to have other kids and boys to boot, as all his friends for right now are girls :rotfl:

That is so funny that Nicole told Tom he was being referred to as Tomato, LOL. I'm so glad there will be a couple of boys for Trent, he should enjoy that!!!

Silly Mother

Thanks

I found a few things he would eat at some of those places

He's always good for breakfast, there's always something he will eat there lol. Dinner, well that is another story! LOL:rotfl:

You got to go so many times this past year..don't want to hear it Mother

I am sure we will stray a lot from it.

But I would like to stick to some of it, like seeing Illuminations and Fantasmic

Yeah, Trent will lvoe that for sure :goodvibes

:rotfl:

Oh Bummer

But you are right, our schedules probably will change a little bit depending on hours :goodvibes

Hey, Tat...I just saw your siggie -- :rotfl2::rotfl2:
I just noticed that I still have my ticker for US up, my savings ticker has mysteriously disappeared, and that last ticker without the savings ticker doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I think I have $40 some on the savings ticker. Thus the long wait time for the trip.
Hey girl!!!

Glad you are here :goodvibes

I just started it last night shortly before midnight

A friend of mine was putting on the peer pressure to make me do one :rotfl2:

Luv ya Carla

Have to get one in there somehow. Will work on that this week :thumbsup2

And you are going too fast for me. I have five pages to catch up on.
Remember you can do on-line at 6am...can't call until 7am...so if you have your heart set on Le Cellier (which is awesome!!), then 6am is a must!!

I didn't make mine until 9:20am but I didn't have any popular ADRs...
:lmao::lmao::lmao:

You don't say Kelly and 6 a.m. in the same sentence!
UJ STALKING BY!!
Interesting ADR's, I might have to try a few of those.....R & C, 1900 Park.........hmmmmmmmmm

Great PTR so far Kelly, Kelly, Kelly........

John
John
John
:lmao::lmao: You all are cracking me up!

I'm not sure I like this rushing Christmas thing.

Is this your first time doing free dining? I wonder if it is any less crazy in December than it is in September. Those people are insane! You would think they have never eaten before!

Rushing Christmas :confused3

September is almost here, then comes October, then November, Then Christmas

Not too far away

Falalalalalalala ;)

I have never done free dining before. Hopefully not as crazy as I hear it can be in August and part of September :thumbsup2

Man, I can NOT do that! I am way too old to stay up all night and then go to work!

STOP! You are rushing Christmas! Summer went way too fast and now you want winter to get here. You are a nut!

You know what I always say when I go for free dining. Then somehow I get sucked in. But I do prefer staying offsite and going to restaurants offsite. So much less insanity.
