Studios Overload, a Pop Mishap and One Smooth Talking Hubby FINAL DAY UP. PG 68

I had a reply all quoted and then somehow hit the wrong keys and my IE shut down -- :headache:

YAY for free dining!!! $127 is nothing to upgrade to TS!!

When you make your Le Cellier ressie, go straight to "date range" view so that you'll be offered all the available dates for your time.

I did it as a test for my dates and for dinner was only offered 4:40pm for one day of my trip. This fills up so quickly, that if you really want to eat here, I would do a date range search instead of a specific day.

All your ressies look great. I wanted to try R&C but was wondering how this goes over for young kids.

So what in the world happened at R&C??? I don't remember...is this the bird incident?

Hate when that happens

Ah..thanks for the advice

I was even thinking I Might just call up for that one. I will do the rest online

Not going to say what happen at R&C....that way if it does happen, it will be a surprise

Forgot to add -- BOMA breakfast really is awesome!!

Oh awesome

So excited to eat there :goodvibes

OMG.. you have a PTR!! and I just happened to stumble upon it!! where is the link in your siggy??? Yay, I'm here!

Hey girl!!!

Glad you are here :goodvibes

I just started it last night shortly before midnight

A friend of mine was putting on the peer pressure to make me do one :rotfl2:

Luv ya Carla

Have to get one in there somehow. Will work on that this week :thumbsup2

Remember you can do on-line at 6am...can't call until 7am...so if you have your heart set on Le Cellier (which is awesome!!), then 6am is a must!!

I didn't make mine until 9:20am but I didn't have any popular ADRs...

That is right

Carla and I were just talking about that.

I guess I will have to drag myself out of bed to get online

or I could just stay up all night and then go to bed

 you will forever blame it on me huh? You know you love doing PTR's. At least this one isn't a year long!!

Yes, up at the butt crack of dawn making ADR's. Too bad we're not doing that on the same day.

Hey Kelly! Great title!

Love the red and green...think you can keep it up? :lmao:

I'm along for the ride!

ooh guess what I just did?!

Okay, okay, you twisted my arm!

After all that Boma talk....
Instead of Kona for breakfast, I booked the Boma breakfast buffet for our trip! (8:50 September 16th) :woohoo: I kept hearing that we can get the Tonga toast at the Poly's CS restaurant. So we might happen over there one morning of the trip to try that.

Thanks and Now back to your regularly scheduled PTR. ;)

Of Course. Would not be as much fun if I did not

Be nice if were doing it on same day, but unfortunately no :sad2:

hey I don't want to interfere with your report too much but I was thinking about on our MK morning to be at the gate at opening and go have fun for the first hour of park opening, then head to the Poly around 10 and have breakfast at their CS restaurant. I wonder what time breakfast stops at the poly CS though...if it stops at 10:30 we would be cutting it very closely. I figure you are the queen of Disney and you might be able to tell me when they stop serving breakfast.

ahh nevermind...I just found it on Allears.net...don't know why I didn't think to look there before. They are open for breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM (And it's called "Captain Cook's Snack Company)

Now for my next question...how long is the monorail ride from the MK to the Poly?

Okay...I did a little research :surfweb:

From MK to Polynesian via Monorail is 14 mins :thumbsup2

thanks Kelly!! I think we'd have to start heading out of MK by 9:45 in order to hop on the monorail and get to Poly by around 10 after 10. (would want to leave enough time to stand if line if we have to) So I wonder if it's worth it for 45 minutes at MK. I mean, we'd have to take a bus to MK anyway before going to the Poly. I guess we will just see how we feel that morning. Maybe we'll feel like waking up early and hitting the Poly at 8:30ish, then getting to the park right after opening. (fat chance with Mike though...he doesn't like getting up early, not even at Disney--I have to force him. LOL)

Another thought: Get up early or wheneve you want -- meet Sharky, go have a Girls' Breakfast and then have the guys & little guy meet you all somewhere later.

Yes, up at the butt crack of dawn making ADR's. Too bad we're not doing that on the same day.

You know whoever arrives first can actually make dining ressies for the other people (if the dates overlap). When you arrive, you just need to give the confirmation number since they don't check IDs or anything.

This might help you get some of the hard to get ressies sooner than you normally would have access to...understand?

I vote for sleeping in and going to Poly for breakfast and then hitting MK

Oh, we are not going at same time. She is going in Sept.

But would have been a good idea :goodvibes

Yeah, oh well. I would be making my adr's before the december hours even came out if I had kept my original dates so I'm very glad I switched now. :thumbsup2

I wish that we were all going at the same time so that I can do that. But alas we are not. :sad2:
