Marigold was going to try and find out if she could tell if it was that Hamel dude who changed my ressie.......she was going to file some sort of complaint about him......BTW, she told me he gave me a lot of bad info. about adding on to a room ressie........(he told me I couldnt do it)....she got it done for UJ!!! I got an email address from her to send Disney a letter about what a great job she did for me!!!!

That is nice. I know from working there when you get a nice letter from a guest, it normally gets forwarded to their manager and gets hung up in their work area for them to see.

Okay....I'm confused?? You are going to Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio In Jan or Feb ???? Sister I have news for you....that place is closed then....frozen like a skating rink!!!! The only thing you could do there is put your tongue on a rollercoaster track and see if it freezes to the track......like Ralphie in "A Christmas Story" !!!! (I love that movie)

We got our Disney Packet today in the mail and it feels so real now!!!!!!

I literally danced into the house with it






Then tonight, DS and I ran to mall to get him a new winter coat and to have dinner at Friendlys, which was very yummy

Of course we had to hit up Disney Store to see if there was anything good. I was hoping to find some long sleeved t-shirts for DS, but there were only like 2 to choose from and they were boring

So I made a purchase for myself instead. I wanted to get myself a new hoodie as the one I have now is old and crappy.

Since it is cooler at night there, I need to be prepared

So this is the one I got

Huge update for UJ....
Called the travel co. last night to see if I could add 4 to my ressie at Ohana...(been trying for a month or so).....my orig. ressie is for 8.....SO...
I give the Cm my ressie # and she looks it up, I tell her I want to add 4 for a total of 12.....She tells me NO, not avail........then says "you mean you want to add 6 to your orig. 6 to get the 12"....I say no my current ressie is for 8, she says no its for 6......I about blew up......

I was at my computer and looked in my Disney file folder with all my info. for my upcoming trip (everybody should have one of those!!) And my ressie is for 8 at Ohana.......She says, well I will just add 2 more to the 6..nope cant do it.......all booked up......you are set for 6....I said NO WAY...

I told her I would email my orig. confirmation proving I made it for 8, she said OK.....She then put me on hold for 10 min......came back and told me she would have to switch me to Guest Services (her supervisor)......So after another 10 min I speak to Marigold in GS......WOW terriffic lady......I went through the whole story with her.....told her how many times I have called and tried to add to Ohana and add 1 night to my ressie at POR.....

Told her about the HAMEL guy I spoke to and he said I would never get the extra night at POR......Well, she took a look and added 1 night with free dining to my ressie, so we dont have to switch resorts and we have more ADR to make..........Well all rest. are about booked up so we ended up booking a breakfast buffet at Boma on Dec. 3.....!!

She told me she would have to call Ohana and talk to the Mgr about changing my ressie back to 8. She told me she would need at least 24 hours but would call me back on my cell........I spent approx. 1 hr on the phone for this whole cluster......The call ended at about 10:00pm last night, at about 10:15 my phone rang and it was Marigold......she got the orig. ressie restored back to 8 !!!!! I was so relieved.........it was about panic time.......
Mairgold told me my ressie was changed on Oct 20 by someone there at the Travel Co. I think it was that Hamel dude.........

SO, I will be checking my ressies again right before we leave on our trip...

YOU SHOULD TOO!!!!!

#1 advice from UJ for Disney- Get a rental car !!

Well, prices have been very high on rental cars....with all agencies....I just did priceline with the name your price option.......my bid was accepted- $19 /day for an intermed. car, accepted by Avis (car is at the airport)...my total is $147 for the 5 days......Alamo has been staying at $230...w/discount codes, everyone else is alot more than that..

But wait........Avis then offered me a 2 car class upgrade for $10 more, so I took it......total is $160.02 for a Chev. Malibu !!!!!! WOOOO HOOOOO

Its going to be a great trip.....

Sharky I will give you guys a ride to a park one day!!!!! NO STINKIN BUSES!!!

My husband direct deposit normally hits wednesday at midnight.

But since the banks are closed today, I had thought that maybe they would have hit last night instead

So, I logged onto our bank site this morning at work and there it was


I immediately logged off and headed over to airtran and bought our tickets going to Orlando


I was able to get 3 seats together too

After that, I dialed up ME directly (Thanks Megan) and I gave the lady our flight information.

She said we did not need new tags as they are not related to what hotel you are staying at.

All that info will come up when they scan our ME vouchers


We are all set now!!!!!

3 more weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I read the part about the tags I was like wait, they are related to your resort as that is how the delivery people know what resort to send them too but I think you meant your flights were not linked to the tags? I always thought they were but I guess DME has their own little system of figuring everything out lol.

I'm glad you got seats together. Our arriving flight is still about 20% filled so I'm holding my breath that they don't cancel the flight and leave us in Cincinnati with no plane I am switching shifts with my co-teacher to work her 7am-3pm shift incase of bad weather or airline issues!!

The slushies at Goofys Candy Co. in DTD are awesome...they usually have approx. 8 flavors and will mix them however you want!!!! AND they are 1 snack credit on the DDP!!! (clear cup only, the character cups are $$)....then walk around the store and look at all the evil candy!!!!
