Studios OKW vs. BWV

Four families for four studios.....with so many potential points involved, I would consider OKW and in fact I would suggest using some of the point difference between OKW and BWV for one of the families (yours?) to get a one bedroom or a 2 bedroom with a lock off studio - your family in the 1BR portion and the other in the studio lockoff - this way you get a full kitchen with quite a large kitchen/living area and a washer/dryer combination

But if you are after location and love walking/being close to Epcot and Disney-MGM then BWV is the way to go

I love having choices like this because you cannot go wrong!!!

Thanks threeprincesses for asking the question I have but I am more concerned with the room. I own at VWL and just stayed there before our Western cruise in July and loved it. I am not as concerned with the bed/sofa sleeper but with the look of the room. A friend who was with me in July seemed to think the studio at VWL was bigger than a studio as OKW. She feels I may be disappointed in OKW in that the rooms need a little updating. She also mentioned that she would have to wait 20-30 minutes (sometimes longer) for a bus. We will be using the bus service and also have 4 families going in 2/03 which will include 6 children. Although we are not really worried about activities at the hotel, convenience to the bus and things around is a bigger concern.

The concerns you expressed from your friend in the previous post are pretty much unfounded (at least, IMHO). If anything, the studios at OKW are BIGGER than at WLV (I think that they are actually about the same in square footage, but WLV might seem bigger with the sofa bed), and the bus service is much better from OKW than from WLV in our experience. So the only transportation advantage is really to MK from WLV.

I have to agree with DoctorP. The OKW studios are larger with much larger bathrooms, but the two queen beds do take up a fair amount of space. We have NEVER had any trouble with buses at OKW. Rarely wait more than 5-10 minutes, and usually less. I love the OKW quiet pools too.

I would have to agree with another poster above, that I would think point wise, you might be better off with a two bedroom lock off at OKW and two additional studios. That way, everyone can gave access to the large kitchen/dining/living area, and yet have their own space.

BTW, the bathroom in an OKW studio does have the sink in the same room as the tub/shower and toilet, but there is another sink outside the bathroom where the minibar etc is, that can be used as well.
