Studios character meets help

Hi all,

I've been reading recent trip reports and highs and lows, and I'm loving the sound of the queued character meet n greets for the characters from Stars n Cars.

Can anyone give me any pointers on what times I need to be in the Production Courtyard area of the Studios, so that my littlest niece can meet the characters there? (well, I say its for my littlest niece ).

We're not far off SDD time too!

We just sat on one of the benches in the area. The characters come out of the gates between Cinemagic and Disney Jnr. Then you split your family, allocate a character to each person, and get your children to run between the adults who are legitimately queuing!! lol We were told that 'characters' come out first, with 'princesses' about 10 minutes later. Expect the queues to close about 15 minutes after the characters appear, and the CMs are strict about this. But they all come out again in the same way a little while later. I think we're talking 11am for the first go, and 12.15/12.30 ish for the second!

your splitting-the-adults is a great idea - however, i'm the only adult on this trip.

Elaine, I see what you mean from the video. I think it is just an experiment. Hopefully!

As cdsmiler has said, they come out by Disney Jr at about 11 am. We saw Lilo and Stitch, Gaston, Remy, Ariel, Mary Poppins and Bert. We just missed the line for Mary and Bert and the CM told us they would be back at 12:30 along with others. It was strictly queuing for these meets.

We loved this meet and greet opportunity. We saw them around 11am and they came back out at 12ish I think.

We missed Lilo and Stitch; Mary and Bert; and Remy as we hadn't realised they would be out in such an organised way and had left it too late.

We waited outside disney junior live at around 11ish. Saw woody, jasmine and alladin, mulan. Then they closed the queues and whilst those queues ended, other characters came out in slightly different places. We then saw Donald, remy, lilo and stitch. They stayed out for at least 20 mins I'd say. Then those queues were closed and then as they were leaving, the first group of characters came back out. It was well organised and very calm, although the crowds were very low so that helped i guess. A few days later we walked past at 12.30ish and there were still characters out so if u miss them first time then dont panic, hang around and they will come back out

Nobody knows, we just have to wait and see since they do not even do any meets at all at the moment.
Just "Good Morning Walt Disney Studios" which is just a walking version of the Stars n Cars Parade.

Hmmmm twitter feeds are showing them still doing meets! The car with say 2 characters, with lots of others behind , come out and then the normal meets happen! Well that's what I'm seeing, on Facebook too.

phew - you can keep me updated, especially with what happens from 5th April, as thats when the new Disney year starts isn't it.

No good queues today. Some meets are done nicely and some are bad.
