DW and I are planning a 4 day trip to Vero at the end of May. Since it will only be the two of us a 1bdrm seems a bit much. So is there much difference between the studios and the rooms at the Inn? The only thing I would really like is a direct ocean view if possible. TIA.:thumbsup2

Inn rooms have 2 real beds, studios have a bed and a sleeper sofa. The studio will seem larger and more comfortable if you leave the sofa folded up, but the Inn Room is more convenient to the resort restaurants, pool, etc. So whatever is most important to you to make your trip magical is what I would book.

You get an ocean view if you book an OV inn room. Even though we like having a sofa in the studios at WDW, at VB, I would always take an OV inn room. DH says he would like whatever I want:goodvibes

Our only studio stay at VB had a walkway view, and if we saw anything beside people walking, it was foliage. Still, we were at VB and we were happy. If you want a view, get an OV inn room!

Having stayed in most types of accomodations at VB, I would suggest the Inn room for 2 of you. As Chuck said, the location is excellent, easy access to pool, beach and the restaurants etc are right in the Inn building of course. JMHO.

We just love having direct view of the ocean from the Inn room. I do wish most of the inn rooms had the bed/sofa combo instead of 2 queens. There are 4 inn rooms on the 4th floor that have that combo. Can't tell you the room numbers because we have never stayed in one, but we're going to try to get one next summer for sure.

For us the view still trumps the extra space with the sofa. When you arrive make clear that you want and ocean FACING room if available.

Sounds great! I think the OV will win out over having the sofa.:lmao:

Are all inn rooms OV or ????

No, you can get garden view or ocean view. Even with ocean view it is possible to get a room that faces north or south and has an offside view of the ocean, but your direct view is of the pool or the north side of the resort. All things considered... get there early, and ask for an ocean FACING room.

I feel the Inn rooms are superior to the studios. For the same price you can guarantee your location (OV) or pay less points. I also feel the rooms themselves are superior in most ways. Granted for 2 people you may not care about the extra bed but I feel the other benefits outweigh that issue. The only time I'd ask for a studio would be if I were going to have a 2 BR lockoff before or after and I wanted to stay in the same unit.
