Studio opening times

I knwo the Studios open at 10am in the morning but what time can you start lurking around the entrance?
Mate and I are planning to go to the park for EMH and then pop to the studios for opening time to ride crush's coaster, figured it would be less of a queue then but we don't want to stroll across for 10am and find the gates already open and a queue time of 80mins for crush cos we didn't get there earlier enough!!!

When we did the same thing. EMH followed by a visit to the Studios we went across at 9.30hrs as you get to the gate. This puts you ahead of the WDS crowd at baggage security. You'll then get let in about 9.45hrs. Daisy, Donald etc are brought out to distract you... don't be. Make you way straight through Studio 1 and wait for the official opening.
This should put you in a prime position to get on to Crush

I arrived one morning in September to find the Studios already opened. While none of the attractions were opened you could still wonder the park and start lining up for your first attraction of the day. The Crush line had already extended over to the Animagique building. Also of interest was that Cars Race Rally was already in operation for the day, ahead of the Studios official openning at 10.00am.

Oooh thanks for that we shall start lurking around 9.30am then and make a dash for the ride ignoring any characters!!! Well we would hopefully have seen them in the park!!!

I was on WDS monday 17 March (St Patrick's day) and i was at WDS bagage check at 9:30. At 9:35, i was in the Crush Line. And at 9:35, the queue time was about 20 minutes (i was in the ride about 10:20).

So, if you want to use EMH, go to MK until 915, and go to WDS after ...
