Ones anyone know what time the buses start running to the Studios when it opens at 9am??

8 am. Transportation is scheduled to start an hour before park opening.

There may be a special bus for those with an early character breakfast.

Sorry. This is incorrect (and often-repeated) info.

The buses to the parks start every day about 6:30am.

If it's the park I'm trying to get to at rope drop, about 10 a.m. :furious:

Just a word of warning; that has happened to me while staying onsite. I got to the bus stop an hour before rope drop, and didn't see a bus going to that park until 30 minutes after rope drop.

I have never had trouble getting buses earlier than 8AM, and never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a bus. The earlier ones are out more for people withy breakfasts, but they do not require you to prove you have a reservation in order to get on one. I know many people hate Disney transportation and have a LOT of trouble with it, but we have stayed from value to deluxe and never had an issue. Might just be luck, but I will take it.

I only know that my hotel front desk looked at some document and told me that buses start running at 8am. I knew that wasn't right because of early ADRs in the past, I just didn't recall precise timing. After much polite pressing, She finally found another CM who found another document and read off of it that breakfast buses start running around 6:30. These may stop at more that one resort, even if your resort usually has dedicated buses, and may be more sporadic in timing. The "regular" service supposedly begins one hour before park open.

I was at Pop and never tried waiting as early as 6:30, but definitely was there between 7:30-8 many times and always saw some buses already pulling away, and got on buses before 8 myself to the studios. I was in line at 7:30 and at DHS by 8:15, which put me abot4families back from the turnstiles for rope drop. They let us in around 8:40-8:45

No, they don't. They weren't around until 8 last week.

Sorry, but you must have been very unlucky.

The buses begin about 6:30 AM every day.

If they began running at an hour before park opening time,
guests could not get to 8:05AM breakfast ADR's which happen 365 days a year.

On the several days a year when MK opens for AM EMH at 7AM, the buses will roll out even earlier.

During a trip to All-Star Sports,I was up early a couple of Mornings and decided to see just exactly how close to the often mentioned 6:30 AM start time that the first bus for each park arrived.:)

Remember this is just a snapshot of 2 particular Mornings at one particular Resort.:)

As Robo said, they start rolling about 6:30. I've seen buses for all 4 parks out an about pre 7 AM while getting an early morning run in. The actual times will vary by your location, and the park. Some of the MK tours start pretty early, and Chef Mickey's opens at 7, so those buses will need to be running earlier than DHS which may not have anything until 8 AM ADRs.

The issue is we are participating in a Disney YES program that starts at 7:45am at the studios and we can't afford a taxi!?

If your ticker is accurate, you have almost a year to come up with the additional $20-$25 (guessing at a rate increase with the higher price) for cab fare. Or downgrade a meal, or skip a souvenir or two, or drink tap water instead of soda.

Thank you, but we're a Girl Scout troop raising over $13,000 in a year. Trust me cookies can't get us here and the fundraising rules under Girl Scouts are CRAZY STRICT! I wish it was as simple as $25! :(

Be at the resort bus stop by 7:00-7:10AM.

You'll be just fine.
