I'm planning a trip for three adults in June, only staying 3 or 4 nights. We will be renting points as all of my points are being used for a much larger group going in August. We will be staying at my home resort, BCV. So, which resort For June (need a studio)? I love the BLT location but the studio looks tiny (for three adults). The AKV studio looks nice, but how convenient (or time consuming) is the bus transportation? It seems so far away from anything. Maybe I should consider BWV. Looking for advice. Thanks!

when it comes to size, i would go with OKW.

BLT: 339 sq.ft.
AKV-KV: 366 sq.ft.
AKV-JH: 316-365 sq.ft
SSR: 355 sq.ft
BCV: 356 sq.ft.
VWL: 356 sq.ft.
BWV: 359-412 sq. ft.
OKW: 390 sq. ft. <<<<<<<<<<<
VGC: 379 sq.ft.

regarding buses, BWV shares a bus. AKL has it's own. OKW-i never had a problem with buses or transportation there--boat, close to DTD. BLT to MK is a walk over, monorail transport, but yes the bus to DTD is long.

Plus with 3 adults OKW studios have 2 real queen size beds, no sofa sleeper.

I know people complain about the buses, but I have never had a problem with them while staying at AKL/AKV. Maybe it is less likely because the buses are the only transportation so they have to be more organized  , or maybe I've just been really lucky! The 2 queen beds would be nice at OKW ;)

I wouldn't do BLT with 3 adults. I stay there solo and it is rather small, but the location is good. It's very easy to resort hop from there. As the PP said, OKW will have two queen beds in their studio, but no couch . BWV is a larger studio, but again someone will have to sleep on the sofa bed.

I haven't done AKV yet. The main complaint there is usually transportation. I have been to Sanaa for dinner and you just have to be patient with the buses. They do run on a schedule and can be rather full, especially if you choose the DTD bus.

OKW would be my suggestion. BLT for 3 adults is not optimal IMHO. We had 4 in a BLT studio - 2 adults and 2 teens - and I thought it was rather tight quarters. I was grateful it was only for 2 nights.

Ditto OKW. Largest studio on the property, large bathroom, two real beds. Buses are very good.

If you book BLT, you will hate the other two adults by the end of your stay.

We have stayed at OKW and BLT studios-go for the OKW-more space. We had 2 adults and 2 children and it was tight at BLT. Love their one bedrooms however!

Thanks. I appreciate all of the advice. I've read some reviews saying OKW is a bit run down. True? Not true?

It's been refurbished within the last 2 years. It's a matter of choice as to whether the new look is to your liking.

For 3-4 nights, I would go with the location that you want the most. I think any of them are doable for a shortish stay.

We were in a studio in Building 32 (2632) at OKW last week. The bed linens were newer (and a really nice nautical design) and there was a lovely flat-screen television. However, the carpet was coming up in several places, the new roman shades were broken and the bathroom floor had quite a few stains.

That might just have been the luck of the draw -- we're actually staying in an OKW studio for a couple of days in December, so I'll be curious if this one is any different.

Whoops! Make that 3226.

We are in a studio at OKW right now. It is very beautiful, clean and looks great. We are in building 14. No idea when or if it was refurbed, but it is wonderful.

The a/c is quiet! Room is huge! 2 kids and 2 adults fit great. I can see getting 3 adults in here. The grounds are breathtaking!
