I was wondering about the studio accomodation at BWV and VB.

We are a family of 4 . DS will be 3+ and DD 11 months.

We are thinking of stretching points in September (low season) for Sun-Thurs at VB followed by Sun-Thurs at BWV in a studio.

Will this work...... any firsthand experiences ?

Also can I confirm a BWV studio with a daybed at the 11 month window or is it an allocation on arrival request.

And finally which of the room accomodation would you recommed at VB....Studio, Deluxe Inn room, Garden/Oceanview.... I really do want to be on the oceanside part of the resort. Am I right that a public road cuts through the resort ?

Thanks all once again

Your plan should work fine. Just remember that you'll be in the same room with your kids all of those nights, so it's not quite as relaxing a vacation - lots of family togetherness. We have done this many times, though.
We stayed in an Inn room at Vero - they are very similar to the studios there, from what I can tell. The inn rooms have the microwave, fridge, and a VCR, and are a reasonable size. We stayed on the garden view side to save points, and the view was of vegetation and you got a great view of the sunset every night. The public road was not really visible.
As for the daybeds at BWV, I don't know if you can get a definite promise on those. Our daughter used one when she was 3, and kept falling out - they are rather narrow. Your child might be better sleeping on the sofa bed, which is quite comfortable and larger. You would need to pull it out, though, giving you less space.

I think, if you are using a crib for the little one, it might be a bit tight in the BWV studio, the OKW would be a bit bigger. But you will probably be fine.

We stayed in a Deluxe Inn Room, Ocean View at Vero Beach, and it was incredibly beautiful... especially in the morning, with the sunrise. :)

Jaga.

All of VB's villas/Inn rooms are oceanside. The proposed construction across A1A never happened, and that property has (reportedly) since been sold.

While they aren't all ocean-view, they'll all be ocean-side.

Hope this helps.

We stayed in the BW studio plus (with the little "day bed") in May. Our kids are 5 and 3. The 3 -year old loved the little bed and had no problems with it. You could put the little on in the pack 'n play and have the sofa to sit on. I'm not sure if I requested this or if I was just told I would be getting it - but it was right on my reservation. I would request it for your stay. If one's available, they'll let you know. Otherwise, the regular studio also worked for us last Sept. when the kids were almost 3 and almost 5. The 3-year-old slept in the pack 'n play, and our older daughter slept on the sofa bed.

Thank you to everyone.

Looks like this will work...although a little tight in BWV

As far as 'family togetherness' goes, its not a problem as the little ones will only too soon no longer want daddy and mummy!!!

Thanks again

We have stayed in a HH and VWL studio with just about the exact same age of little ones. Oldest son was 3+, little brother was 14 months at HH. Oldest son was 3+, little brother was 11 months at VWL. We did use a crib for the little one, sofa bed with bed rails for big brother. We had no problems. It is really sweet being around the little ones and they absolutely love being around you. It is really our idea of a family vacation. After they doze off, we watch a bit of TV. Both are great sleepers. Can't speak to VB or BVW. We are staying at OKW for 9 nights in a studio in October. Can't wait.
