Studio 11/6-9????

DW & I are hoping to make a 2nd trip this year w/o DD. She was at the Gartner Conference last Oct and wants to go back to the WFF at Epcot. Plus this is kinda a "Post Traumatic Stress" relief trip. My company just gave 60 co-workers layoff notices . They will be gone by the end of October. That is why we haven't planned a getaway until now (and why we haven't bought into DVC).

Anyway, what is the likelihood of a studio still being available at BWV or BVC for those dates above? If not there, would OKW or SSR studio be a good option (if available)? Or would we be better off booking a room at BW/YC/BC or S&D just to be near EPCOT? Or save the $ and stay at a mod like POFQ or POR?

I think you are going to have a problem getting anything on site for that time. In addition to the F & W Festival, that weekend is the start of "Jersey week" and many of the EPCOT resorts (whether DVC or not) are already booked up solid.

That said, you never know what availability may be until you call. IMHO, any DVC studio is a good choice. My advice would be to book something asap and get on a waitlist if necessary. 60 days ahead of arrival, any unreserved point inventory is fair game for cash reservations. That means you may be competing with the general public for any unreserved DVC "point inventory" rooms.

Sorry about the layoff notices - hope the trip works out. FWIW, I'd go even if I had to stay off site!
