Student help!

I looked about, and I *think* this is the right forum, but if not, I'm very sorry.

Anyway, me and three friends are looking to go to Disneyland Paris next year, anywhen from January to April, really and I was wondering how we could do it cheap. We all live on the Isle of Wight, but we can easily get to London (or anywhere) to get coaches or whatever.

We'll all be 18-19 when we go, however, we're not going to reinforce any stereotypes of typical loud and drunk students... we just want to feel young ((one last time!) before we go to uni. I went this year with my college, but fell ill out there and had to miss a load of rides, and although I loved it, I really wanna go again.

Anyway, I've blabbered a bit, so I'll leave it there. But yes, we're looking for.

• Cheap travel
• Cheap resort hotel
• 3-4 nights

I imagine it'll come as a package, so yeah, just wondering who you'd suggest?

Hello Munkee - welcome to the DIS

You don't have to book things as a package - booking things separately can often work out cheaper.

It took some finding, but if you really want to do things on a budget, this thread gives the names of some cheap hotels near to DLP.

Otherwise there are the preferred hotels which are a 10 min shuttle bus ride away, of which the Holiday Inn, in particular, does some very reasonable rates.

Here are the prices for passes bought on the gate. If you decide you want to splash out a bit and stay at one of the onsite hotels, then tickets are usually included in the price. Here is the booking page to check some of those prices out!!!

Suspect that your cheapest option will be to look at booking direct with Disney or arranging seperate hotels outwith the park

We went this January (just after kids went back to school) and with the free night offer it actually ended up cheaper to stay at the Hotel Cheyenne than booking one of the offsite hotels. We booked the hotel and tickets through Disney direct and flights separately via Airfrance's website.

Since you'll all be under the age of 25 have a look at going by Eurostar. They do special rates for youths (i'm still classed as one at 23) and you can go to disney return from London Waterloo for as little as £65.

Depending on how many of you there are (or how friendly you are) it can work out reasonable to stay on an onsite property (the Santa Fe for example) as 4 of you can share a room (2 double beds). Alternatively, the preferred hotels (The Holiday Inn, The Explorers, The Hotel Kyriad and the Vienna Dream Castle) are reasonable, and can be got for around £60 per night depending on when you go and where you book them from. If you try www.hotelclub.net for the Explorers and Kyriad, they have good rates and give you free money to use on your next booking (an excuse to go again!) or www.holidayinn.co.uk as they do a special advance purchase so you can get a twin room for around 60 euros (about £43)
