Stuck on a bus?

How much time should I factor into my planning when going from Wilderness Lodge to MK, AK and MGM? How different is it going back to the hotel midday? At the end of the evening? I'm trying to get my table service reservations planned out but I'm not sure if I'm allowing enough travel time between locations...last time I was there was in the early 80s and we stayed off-site, so I have no clue as to how long the buses take on their routes, how long at each stop, etc.

Thanks!

Just bumping you over to Transportation for some answers. :)

You take the boat to MK, it is pretty quick. Buses to the other parks can be quick or not so quick depending on if you just missed the last bus or not. Figure 20 minutes to park as the quickest to as much as an hour depening on you wait for the bus. I always give myself plenty of time to get there....

As duds just said, the boat to MK is best...lots of fun and reasonably quick. For the other parks, you can plan on about 20 mins, give or take. But, the issue is when is the bus going to actually be at your resort. If you get to the bus stop, looking to head to Epcot, and the Epcot bus has just pulled away, you could have a wait of 20 or so minutes before the next one comes along. Or you could get to the bus stop just as the bus pulls up. So, you should plan accordingly. If you have a time sensitive situation (ADR at 5:30) you need to leave at least 45 mins...just in case that worst case scenario happens.
