Stuck In A Planning Rut

I convinced my fiancé to let me add a day to the end of our wedding/honeymoon trip.. we will be there April 26th - May 4th (my AP expires on May 5th so I'm getting as many days out of it as possible while we are there

I was so excited when he agreed, so I sat down to figure out our "extra" day and I realized I have no idea what to do with this day It's weird because I usually plan week or longer trips, so I don't know what's throwing me off with this one. I know I want to do the Frozen Desset Party that night. So I booked that and Il Mulino for dinner. Opinions on this restaurant?? or other dinner suggestions? We are already doing Le Ceiler, Monsieur Paul, Spice Road, Via Napoli. I'm also considering Chefs since it might be more convenient to dine in Epcot.

And I have NO IDEA what to do for the day. I've always wanted to do Breakfast at Boma, but then what to do after? Or we could do breakfast at the Wave (also new to us) and go over to MK for a leisurely morning (we already have a full day planned there earlier in the week)

I just feel like there are so many choices and I don't want the day to seem "wasted," but I also don't want to do too much because we will be driving 8 hours home the next day.

Any suggestions on fun tours to do? We already have Wild Africa Trek booked for another day. My fiancé has always seemed intrigued by Walt Disney (although he isn't a die hard Disney fan like the rest of us), so I thought one of the MK tours might interest him.

Il Mulino was very loud the night we ate there, not romantic. They gave us a table right next to a pole in the aisle so we couldn't even sit next to each other. Consequently it was a silent meal as we couldn't hear each other across the table. But I know others rave about the place. We had much better adult dinners at Jiko and Cali Grille. I also like Les Chefs and have had good meals there but it too can be loud.

Breakfast at Boma then tour AKL, see all the animals. Did that one trip, liked it. Then we took the bus to Epcot for a leisurely day.

Are you going to Disney Springs at all? So many new restaurants and bars there.

I'm also a big fan of a day at Typhoon Lagoon.

A leisurely day at any park is a nice way to go and with FP+ you can be sure to get on a few rides.

Breakfast at Boma and the MK for Keys to the Kimgdom tour. I would probably have dinner at Epcot and then the dessert party. You could always have dinner at Yachtsman or Flying Fish.

Give your soon to be an edited list of things to do and let him decide. Nice start of the compromise also known as marriage.
If no interest on his end save the extra day's money and put it towards some form of savings.

I would look at where you haven't spent as much time as you wanted to. Or spend a leisurely day at MK, wondering around EPCOT or DS.
I love Il Mulino. It wasn't overly crowded either time we were there. And not that noisy. Not sure if we picked off days or if PP picked a bad day there. We clearly had different experiences there.

We did the Keys to the Kingdom tour in February and I thought it was a good mix between history of Walt and the company and behind the scenes secrets and tidbits about the park. I even did my senior research paper in high school about Walt Disney and there were a lot of thing that were new to me! It’s 5 hours and I wanna say around $100 per person and lunch is included. I’ve also heard good things about Marceline to the Magic Kingdom.

Yes probably a bad night, I will say the week we were there was the week leading into Easter. The restaurant had a private event in the outdoor area and a bachelorette party in the bar that night. And I really felt sorry for people who were eating at these tables going down the hall toward the restrooms between the noise and crowd , I think you will get mixed reviews on almost every restaurant at Disney so if you want to go to Il Mulino you should... it might be great

Perhaps show him a list of the tours and see if any of them interest him?

Maybe just wing it? Tour some resorts? You don't mention where you are staying, but, if WD intrigues your fiancé, you may want to go over to BCV and see some of the actual train cars WD used in his backyard.

One of our best days at WDW was when we rented a cabana at Typhoon Lagoon. We have also done that at the Disneyland Resort at the pools as well but we are water people. We had so much fun drinking tropical drinks and riding the slides and swimming in the wave pool. Its as relaxing as you make it. Just a thought.

Thank you everyone for the helpful suggestions!! I reworked our plans last night and made it so we aren't running from place to place every day. I realized most of our trips to Epcot will be for dinner and I want to enjoy the Flower and Garden booths, so I think we will do Boma breakfast at 9:30 AM and then head back to YC (where we are staying) and spend the day at Epcot with dinner at Spice Road and then the Frozen DP. I still have the Keys to the Kingdom tour in the back of my mind because I think my fiancé would love to see the utilidors.. I just wish it wasn't 5 hours long. I'd enjoy Typhoon Lagoon, but he HATES going barefoot/showing his feet so I don't think he would He's the kind of person to wear sneakers on the beach instead of flip flops.
